| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Honestly, I can't take their outfits seriously. Looks like there's drama and tension already this early in the series. Shelly seems like a very competitive person judging by how hard she tries. Kanata seems to enjoy the pace with running. Still a very average episode but it's early in the series. I'll give it a chance to see how far it can develop its roster. Out of the supporting cast, I kinda like Yana now. |

| One apparent thing about this ReSTART! "reboot" of a show: it's still an AIC product, though the studio itself doesn't make anime anymore since the late 2000s. I need not say that Seven's production values aren't the strongest with those off-kilter faces lols, kinda reminds me of Try Knights with horrible animation, though this is subpar. The plot of behind-the-scenes "evil forces" sure reminds me of those storylines of the 90s that sure are cringe when looked back upon. Yeah...this Cosmo Beauty "Space Olympics" sure isn't working for me, but I'd like to imagine how bad this'll go. Kanata has suited herself into this event OK, but the others...I'm not so sure. As if the dodgeball event was dodgy enough, having a parkour competition on the high walls...how creative could this go? Not gonna expect a lot outta this one as the worst show in the final push for the Tokyo Olympics promotion. |

| Nice, at least they changed the different original sports but too bad we don't see much, the matches are really rushed :/ It's the same for the moon population drama and their religion but it seems to be already resolved which is surprising. This bomb problem is very concerning though. |

| ok, so we have 3 pimps with shades who need to die horrible deaths. And a psycho doctor who also needs to die the same horrible death as the pimps. ok, more of the friendship thing. Shelley needs to get her prosthetics upgraded.. it's only the first game and hand gave out already. I guess the detective knows he's dealing with a great evil after his car got bombed. :p |

Anyway, I remember I wanted more daily life and interactions between the characters, so I can understand them better... and more yuri fanservice is always welcome. Now, completely remove the matches wasn't what I asked for neither. But again... 12 episodes. But there are improvements too. I cannot tell if this is from the OVAs or the TV version, but for example, Chris (Yana version 0.1) and the Beginner religion weren't taken seriously back then, I remember some humor involving Chris personality, that I disliked. They are being taken more seriously now. Also this is the time to comment on this, if somebody is thinking that some yuri fanservice was already shown between Yana and her roommate, not really, pay attention to the lore. People from the moon believes in symbiosis, it's natural for her to want to be friend with somebody that will be so close. Perfectly justified by lore. No yuri there. But I have the yuri goggles on. I think the long matches will return for the second half of the season. |

I know its just 12 episodes, but you can still add more from the matches instead of just showing that Shelleys arm doesnt work that good. Maybe I should drop this crap and watch the actual good ones? Since I didnt watch any of the other ones this sounds heavily made up. Even if its not, the fanservice is still unnecessary and doesnt bring anything into this "story". I honestly just watch this cause its so simple and a good start to get back into watching animes |

| Interactions between Yana and Lydia was amusing and I'm glad they became friends. The bit with Eva was infuriating, I hope those bastards pay. Also woa didn't expect this anime to get serious in the background, did that detective seriously just die? |
