We definitely can't leave it as it is, right?

Tomozaki popularity have surge in these last couple of episode with its solid story plot. I remember when the show started, this website gave the show a rating of 6 point something. Now its going up and up and up, I believe we can reach 7.5 to 8 very soon.

All the character are really likeable. And while some of us see Tomozaki huge improvement, definitely he still lacked off in a lot of things. A lighter way to end the season, though I prefer to have more spicy drama before we reach the current settlement.

Anyway, lot of stuff that can be explore out of the series. Hinami background story for example, I was looking at the author's twitter account where he posted / retweeted Hinami situation as an iceberg, on the outside seems bright but hides lots of problematic thing in actuality. That in itself can be a season 2 story, where we see more things from Hinami. Mizusawa story might also be interesting if they gonna dig in. We also have not seen much of Nakamura.

In conclusion, do your thing Project no. 9! This is your highest rated show (at least on MAL), just anounce Season 2 already!

It definitely needs a second season. I doubt if the studio gives a shit about MAL ratings tho. All that matters if it sells well.

It was well received (Regardless of the score in MAL, which it has never being an accurate measurement to begin with) so hopefully it does get another Season. Chances are that it would be announced after the second OVA in Summer? Maybe, who knows. There’s enough material available so could be possible.

Wasn't announced so if we get something will be only in 2022 :( I like the plot. Got better every episode. Really hope we can see what's next!

I’m be down to see more, the latter half of the season was definitely stronger than the first half in my opinion. Probably won’t read the source material either way tho.

Wow... Jaku may really be the new (or better) Oregairu. Solid plot, story, characters, dialogue etc. Just one of the really good shows that came out of the banger that was this winter 2021 season. The only thing that was a bit questionable was Fumyia's and Hinami's confrontation. Fumiya called himself out for being a hypocrite by criticizing Hinami's methods that he was/is benefiting from. This shows that Fumiya for being the "loser" character actually has more emotional intelligence and self awareness out of the entire cast. Fumiya said that he would ignore the things that Hinami would tell him to do if it meant going against what he really wanted (which he has basically has been doing the entire season already which is why they had their falling out in the first place). Maybe i need to rewatch the season or even just the last ep to break it down further and make sense of the gaming analogies. Overall Jaku, def deserves to be fully adapted (2nd, 3rd, 4th season) and I hope we get it no later then 2023.

I get the criticism but this was a season 1. Things have to be established like any other season 1 would need to do. I honestly liked Jaku from the jump and throughout. I give every show at least a season to get me convinced and i was already invested by ep 3-4 and it just snowballed from there. Just the whole concept of the gamifiying life formula is so good on top of the good Drama and dialogue had me straight. Im hoping for a season 2 asap.

You really can sense the oregairu vibe here. And as Oregairu fan, I have to say if we got second season that executed properly then I probably like this series more.

2023 will be too long! We need season 2 as early as next year, they got plenty of materials from the LN to even make 3 season.

Eh I’ll probably watch it, but I doubt it’ll keep me interested throughout the whole second season. This show was kinda eh. Felt more like a tutorial show on how to socialize with people and not be a capital G Gamer. In the end he’s still mostly a capital G Gamer.

Still confused how decent hygiene and appearance is cringe. Like you don’t need to be super fashionable, but at least stick to a style for your clothes and hair. And, you know, shower at least bi-daily?

The studio probably doesn't, but the author kinda does lol. He retweeted the western popularity poll like anitrend several times and often interacted with the fans on twitter. He also said thanks for S1 and ask on twitter "do you want S2?", so I really hope he's able to make S2 happens somehow XD

I was going to say you guys are crazy to make a comparison against Oregairu but the more I thought about it, the more it dawned on me that I really did enjoy watching this show. Judging on the future of the LN given it isn’t rushed and has a horrible ending, I can definitely see the potential it has to contain the perfect blend of comedy, drama and romance depending on where the author goes. I think in this case it would be heavily depended on the structure of the story and the storyline passed current events in the LN. Fingers crossed for season 2!

Yeah plot is really amazing. I really appreciate the concept if "Life is a God-Tier Game". And Tomozaki kun, I really liked the character and it happened when He confessed to Fuuka that he actually never read that novel. It showed that he doesn't want to deceive her by showing false interest, he has a strong will.
Hoping for interesting OVA in summer and a second season ASAP, CAN'T WAIT.

Even though I really liked the anime and its "gamification" of life, I don't think another season is needed. I don't really think that the journey is more important than the destination (his popularity and how he lives as an "idols" of the School). However, with this anime, it is. The more important thing is how do you manage to go from nothing to Friends and a "girlfriend", that settings small objectives after small objectives makes your life easier than trying to achieve everything in one go. It's like defeating the final boss of a game after doing all the side quest and other bosses or going to kill him from the start. In my opinion, the anime doesn't need another season since everything has been told. You Can still read the source material if you're interested tho.

I would definitely watch a season 2, but this feels like a one season anime to promote the manga. Just being realistic. If there is a second season I will be a lot less dissatisfied with where they left things.

I personally enjoyed the show but don't know why people seem to dislike it. I'm rooting for season 2 but if any news will come soon then i wiil give LN a try.

It is shocking to find how many people do not believe they can learn, and how many more believe learning to be difficult.
