The makers haven’t renewed the show as of yet, but the previous season ended with a cliffhanger. And the anime series still has to feature the entire tournament. Plus, the anime-only fans are yet to see some of the characters. So the fans can stay positive that there will be a third season. Earlier, there were reports that the makers delayed it because of the Coronavirus pandemic. But since now all other productions have resumed their work, the fans can expect its official announcement soon. Kengan Ashura Season 3 might premiere by the end of this year or in early 2022. ( I think this too)

All I can say that read the manga. It is way better. But honestly I doubt that season 3 will ever be made. They left the anime of Raian vs Ohma fight because it could be ended there. So just read the manga

The anime ends on chapter 136 so 137. But honestly, you should read it from the start since the anime left quite a lot of content that will become important. Hell they skipped entire characters.
