 Kadokawa opened an official website for the Sentouin, Hakenshimasu! (Combatants Will Be Dispatched!) television anime on Friday, revealing the cast, staff, first promotional video, and a teaser visual (pictured). The anime series adapting Natsume Akatsuki's fantasy comedy light novel will air in April 2021.Yuusuke Shirai (Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle - Rhyme Anima, IDOLiSH7) and Miyu Tomita (Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai, Tonari no Kyuuketsuki-san) are starring as Sentouin Roku-gou (Combatant No. 6) and Kisaragi=Alice, respectively. Staff Director: Hiroaki Akagi (Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san, Hina Logi: From Luck & Logic) Series Composition: Yukie Sugawara (Overlord, No Guns Life) Character Design: Takehiro Suwa (Assault Lily: Bouquet chief animation director, Kuromukuro animation director) Music: Masato Kouda (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!, Knight's & Magic) Music Production: Nippon Columbia Studio: J.C.Staff Akatsuki originally penned the fantasy comedy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in August 2012 and posted the 68th installment in September that year before switching to Kakuyomu in October 2017. Kadokawa's Sneaker Bunko imprint began publishing the novel in November 2017, featuring illustrations by Kakao Lanthanum. The sixth volume shipped on September 1. Sentouin, Hakenshimasu! has a cumulative 200,000 copies of its volumes in circulation. Masaaki Kiasa began drawing a manga adaptation in Monthly Comic Alive magazine in March 2018. Kadokawa released the fifth volume on September 23. Yen Press licensed both the light novel and manga in English last February. The fourth novel volume and third manga volume went on sale on September 22 and October 6, respectively.
