| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Today the first episode already pre-aired and can be found online. Simply message me or leave a comment if haven't found the sauce (not an English sub though). Well..what can I say? Cutest 8,5 minutes ever in Azur Lane. Even for a non mobile player like myself, I enjoy watching them. The main part was already enjoyable for me. They are simply having fun, feeding each other, having sleepover party. Adorable and cute. Thanks Javelin for the great fanservice as well, I expect more. Edit: It's also available on the favorite trt site. |

Really cute 4-koma series, something in the vein of Isekai Quartet, Azur Lane style. Should've just asked Yostar to animate Azur Lane back then, and everything would be good. |

| Hope this anime means we get a Azur Lane: Queen's Orders adaptation in the future. Pretty silly anime as I had expected. I bet we'll see a lot more food shenanigans as this show ventures on. |

| I like that they had Ayanami say her Demon skill activation line during the pillow fight. Those words have been burned in to my brain due to the number of times I've heard her say it in the game, but it was still good to hear in a different context |

Laffey, especially Bunny Laffey, is so precious  So does Javelin  My nose is bleeding rn, out of pure joy of wholesomeness, and also the OP is so catchy and looks so good and smooth, so pleasant to hear and see. Looks like it would be a solid medium short anime. |

| Now this is what an Azur Lane should be and that is cute ship girls doing random cute things. Seeing Laffey-chan was so cute and the animation is so much better. Javelin also mentioning the "Commander" is great because he was non existing in the previous anime. |

| Nimi-chan! Nimi-sensei! We can't have enough Nimi, but not only that we also got a full bonus Ayanami-chan. Clearly the real anime of the season here. Starter quartet is best quartet, I do hope we get to see more ships in the skit than just them though. Some absolutely fine Javelin service in the beginning, she also mentioned Shikikan. I wonder if they will ever try to animate him or even voice him. It would be pretty interesting if they did. xD |

 Instead of usual 3 mins short, i got 8 mins here, unexpectedly nice. That scene was so good. Overall, its really intriguing me to watch the main one. Or, maybe i just try the game by myself! |

| That was good, for 8 minutes it had a lot of sweetness in it i can tell you that much. Didn't expect this series at all, but its a welcoming one non the less. Really looking forward to the rest of these short animations with Laffey, Z23, Javelin and Ayanami a.k.a the destroyer starter gang, especially if they are all gonna be this chilled out, and seiso. Laffey, as i thought, was more sweet this episode then the cup of tea i was drinking (it had 6 tea spoons of sugar in for comparison) and i loved it. Laffey gang all the way through. Also pretty excited to see what other ship girls will make an appearance, gonna be a joy ride of spotting your favourite ship girl huh xD |

| OMG normies shut up. Azur Lane is both the cute girls and their context (the story). It is so good to have an anime focused on the slice of life stuff, but also it'd have been better if the first anime hadn't butchered the story. "Story or cuteness" is also a false dilemma fallacy. The art is top tier in this one, no fucked up faces. |
| I honestly prefer this over the 'real' anime. I'm glad to see more of Z23, who's one of the only characters I'm very fond of in Azur Lane. Not a bad episode, by the way! |
