| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Jin Mori's desperation to reach out to his kidnapped grandfather-cum-Master Jin Taejin whilst the God of High School National tournament is underway, but knowing Mira and Daewi's friendship, a lost friend is one to gain back. The fake Jeju team of men (even with just Lee Marin the buff man) vs. Seoul team of only the sole participant Yoo Mira, that's a battle of wits (more than just her idolizing buff men). Looks like the sword that the false CEO (that forcefully wanted to marry Mira in Episode 4) stole from Mira's family household is a National Treasure...it can only mean one thing: Nox is here to infiltrate and thwart the tournament. Regardless, her "Dynasty Warriors" style Charyeok of Lu Bu, it was honestly great to see her unleash the power she needs, more than enough to fight back against the crude followers of Nox. And did Daewi just mistakenly got himself into a random battle and earned a kiss from his opponent team? The kiss of death from one of Jegal Taek's teammates...that's quite a sight to behold. Just what is his true goal in this tournament? And finally, the traitor within the Judges show up, his true identity: Nox's Fei-Long, and besides a fearsome Doppelganger Charyeok, Jin Mori with his hour-long no-pain acupuncture from Na Bong-Chim, arrives in the nick of time to finish their match, but importantly, lay waste to the Nox Jeju team and Fei-Long, for a 2-in-1 side-by-side mesh of an artstyle that looks honestly VERY cool and striking, and his Original powers to the roof (that the Six have definitely noticed plus Park Mu-Jin). Jin Taejin and Jin Mori, definitely Tiger Cubs, like (grand)father like son. |

| Wow! Thank Goodness. Definitely my favorite episode so far. Great animation, action sequences, and storytelling. Not a single nitpick (besides for one, but it can be answered). It was fantastic. A couple of standout moments: When Daewi was put in that breast hold, I couldn't hold in my laughter. While usually it would be ridiculous, and not in a good way, it actually sort of worked in the moment and didn't feel too cringy Also, in Mira's fight, even though it was obvious how the fight would turn out, it still managed to do it justice and her Charyeouk is pretty neat. Lastly for Jin, the raw emotion he portrayed this week really gave his his character some depth and really gave both of his fights greater effect in the narrative. All in all, as near a perfect episode as one could expect from this series. |

| Another goated episode. Mappa really snapped on this series, Jesus that’s that side by side fight was dope. The blue dragon kick was awesome too. No complaints really. Hopefully with the improved pacing the ratings for the show start rising. |

Okay Damn MAPPA really went all out on this episode "It seems the tiger raised another tiger" Well.. you see that's how nature works... Mira finally unlocked her very own stand and her stand fought the other guy's Kraken stand. Mori kicks and dragons come out, Han Daewi fights big boobed girl and the big boobed girl kisses him, and that concludes this week's episode. See you guys next week sigh.... |

| Not a huge fan of that editing in the end, thought it was lazy editing. Almost gave me the impression that they couldn't fit Jins fight with the doppelganger guy so they had to try someway to fit it in. Other than that, enjoyable episode. Not enjoyable enough to where I can get my meathead shit on! That little exchange between Daewi and Jegal was bone chilling tho. |

| What an episode!!! MAPPA, I´m really surprise with your work with the series (just amazing fights!) And oh man... Is just me or Mori is totally focused (how could he survive the explosion?) Great scenes, and a better pace... hope this ends as high as possible!!! Mori you rocks! |

| This episode might be my favorite so far. I feel like it was paced really well and I’m a sucker for fights where an angry hero calmly lays a beat down on the villain. The choreography was really cool, especially with the double fight! I was kinda bummed when Mori just showed up and I thought it would just cut to the bad guy unconscious in the warehouse. Really cool way to showcase how badass Mori is! |

| Not trying to ruin the fun, but I don't see how this episode is better than the others. The praise you are giving MAPPA for the animation is undeserved, the fights are still badly choreographed, not fluid and predictable. What GOHS ultimately lacks is feel for action and originality and that won't change. I mean, Jin possibly being late for the tournament match, that's a Beyblade strategy. And they didn't even get a badass moment out of it. |

At this point, GOH has transformed into DBZ X JoJo 2.0, flashy kicks, jojo stands, but screw the plot, the plot just became more fight after fights. I mean, that's not even the problem. One of my favorite anime is Yuu Yuu Hakusho and there's a stretch of like 30 episodes with fights non-stop. Fights in God of Highschool are boring because one: there's no build up, no weight, it's rushed. Why should I care about this tournament anymore. And number two, there's no strategy. You get hit, then you overpower your oponnent and win. |
| Not gonna lie, that was a nice explosion, not gonna question how Mori stayed alive there! What I was hoping to see was Mori rescuing his grandpa, but instead got tricked. That guy got what he deserved. Some really fishy groups are messing things up in the tournament... Pretty dope fights this episode! Especially that rampage Mori went on at the end. That was fantastic! Was pretty nice to see Mira shine as well, she got her Charyeok during her fight and it looked pretty great! |

| Hmm well it definitely feels super rushed again compared to the last episode, but I'm definitely enjoying the anime more and more compared to episodes 4-7 since I could make sense of the story and the fighting scenes were dope. Love the triple-kick and the side-by-side parallel of the two fights with Mori Jin, pretty badass. I don't understand people who are still watching this if they don't even care about the fighting scenes at this point. It's been 9 episodes, you should know the formula. Why do people have the need to come here every week to complain about the same goddamn thing, just drop it, it's that simple. |

| Mori took that explosion point blank and walked away with a few scratches lol. This episode had some pretty dope action. Mira got some spotlight and had a cool fight, unlocking her Stand charyeok, and Mori's side-by-side beatdown was entertaining as well. |

| This is getting beyond ridiculous... Nobel prize for the 1st person that is able to explain the plot and power system in this thing. With all the BS that we got until know, they keep adding new powers. Now we are getting Naruto Shadow Clones that fight like Agent Smith copies in Matrix and magic weapons. Also that dual bleu dragon "kick" that looks like straight from Yu-Gi-Oh! At this point, this is more like a parody of all shonen genre than a legit story... |

| I fairly enjoyed it, despite all the bullshit. I think it's time for some explanations because too many unexplained events are piling up and there might not be enough time for a reasonable explanation. If the season ends without us knowing exactly or at least a good part of what's going on here, then I'm afraid this'll have disappointed me after all |
