With only three episodes left, the remaining of the final arc is going to be rushed as heck. Truely a pity.

Huh, looks like I spoke too soon, they did give Renzo some more screentime after all. That's good, and the scene in the shed tied in nicely with the overall theme of the cycle of revenge.

Now the focus is back to the brutal deathmatch between the Itto-ryuu and the Rokki-dan. This time Soma got to shine more than in her previous attempt at fighting an Itto-ryuu, but the poor girl seems a little too eager to impress her father. It's crazy how a man like Habaki somehow inspires affection and loyalty in his family members.

Also, the subtitles in this one were something. Renzo talking about his "Sister and Father" when he clearly meant Rin and his father. Guess the translator didn't remember Renzo didn't have any siblings. And then later Soma talking about resuscitating Ban when she was just going to use the same method as him to prevent herself from passing out.

Renzo, after suffering so much from Shira's endeavours of the Devil, still hasn't given up his murderous intent against Manji. But enlightenment for him to change his ways and go back to Itto-Ryu, even if Manjo were to reappear in the life thereafter is the only choice.

The "Pots" mini-arc really showcase the tragedy of more than the showdown between the Itto-Ryu and Rokki-dan. But rather mountain dwellers whose thinking overpowers fear and strategy...for a short bit. Ryo had me shorten my pumping heart for that while though.

But there's one thing that matters more: one will win, and the other shall fall. In this tragic battle of survival, who will emerge the victor?

oh god! good thing the biological daughter of Lord Habaki didn't perish! she's so young!
the 2 shinobi are really quite crazy in attitude! and lucky Manji, he got body heat from that shinobi woman! nice!
5/5.

Kinda suprised the old man got tricked like this. I mean this could have not been the 1st time his opponent was pretending to be dead/unconcious after realising the situation.

Hopefully, they can wrap this up nicely with the only 3 episodes left.

Kind of fair not to tell Renzo anything as that would only show Rin's perspective of who his dad was

Nice to see someone fight with their intellect for once, curious to see how the battle between Itto-ryu and Rokki is going to end
