| The grave stone part gave me chills. Great episode as always and a good point to stop, but now the worst part of this series has begun.....waiting for another sequel. I guess binging the OVA during the holidays would be an option. Thing is, I don't really feel like switching in the middle of it since I'm already so used to this version, lol. |

| In the OVA, isn't it only Merkatz and Schneider that defected to FPA? This time around at least 2 Imperial spaceships were there. Awesome! Damn beautiful place for Annerose new house and she would be perfectly gorgeous if not for those weird eyelashes If only they use OVA Imperial and FPA anthems tho.... "Mein Fruend", Jessica Edwards, Jean Robert Lapp T_T This definitely need and deserved 3rd season. And if did get one, I really wish for documentary episode on Earth past > USG Tranquility already in my top 5 ED of all time. |

Nice list of titles. Kircheis sure is moving up in the world. Generally speaking, these four episodes really nailed it. When plot and dialogue work together, basically. They also included some scenes missing from the OVA, such as the one between Konev and Rubinsky in ep 1 and many of the scenes with Yang and Trunihct in ep 4. |

| I really hope Production IG continues with this series, the story is far from over...it has just begun, let’s be real. I’ll just say that I REALLY enjoyed this reboot a lot more than the outdated experience from the OG OVA version that was like 110 episodes long. The audiovisual aesthetics has helped out a lot in terms of portraying the story and the characters. OP and ED are fire and unskippable as always. Damn, I still wish Kircheis didn’t die. |

| Nice end. Good adaption of the remaining parts of the last chapter of volume 2 of the novels with a bit additional scenes or some very minor changes. A bit weird when Julian received the call and Yang was nearby and didn't hear the thing about Merkatz. :D I hope for more since the best parts are later in the plot and this was basically only introduction. |
| Having this intro after loosing Kircheis hurts so much. While Yang is a toxic Trunicht hater you will see in time (and probably sooner than later considering the pacing) that Trunicht is actually a good boy. Though if we have to wait another year for a continuation its probably later. This episodes animation was definitely on a budget after the last, especially considering it was a movie release. Nothing too worrying though. I completely forgot just how young Reinhard was at this point. We are now done with what was essentially season 2 and Yang lost both his friends, Reinhard lost Kircheis, both civil wars are over and the earth cult was revealed. It all just feels a bit too soon. As if they are trying to make up in pacing what they lost in release time, I guess its better like this than having crucial events stretched over multiple years. Im missing some time for Mittermeyer and Reuenthal especially, they are degraded to side characters too much. Guess the same goes for Rubinski but nevermind him. Anyway this part of the reboot was for some reason way better than the first season, it went want kinda terrible why does it even exist to looking forward to it. If you want to watch the original, start with the movies and skip the PVs. The PVs are literally spoiling everything multiple episodes in advance. PS: Do you think we will get a history episode featuring fat hookers? Now during the wait for S3 would be a good time for an OVA/special. Episode 40 of the original btw. Its completely safe to watch IIRC. Its literally just the narrator explaining the history of the universe. They dont want all of humanity to go back to earth as much as they want all of humanity to remember its origin. Though they definitely are the cartoon villains in this story and religion hasnt been a part at all in this while it focuses more on the political systems so they kinda have to fill that role. Its not like they are super important to the core parts of LoGH. |

| Both of our MCs visiting their friend gave off a really melancholic and at the same time happy vibe, it's bittersweet. Both of them lost something precious to them. I really liked this series, I hope there's a continuation soon. Looks like their troubles aren't over yet, the Earth Cult is planning something. Admiral Yang should do something because even worse things will happen if he don't and he knows it. |

They're military honours. It's quite common to posthumously promote soldiers who died performing great acts of valour by a rank or two. The fact that he got so many and such distinguished ones is proof of how much Reinhard loved him. Aaand now I'm crying... God damn it. |

| Production IG will probably never acquire the funds to finish this. Lets see them release one season every couple years for 10 more years. Thats the best case scenario anyway. I found this adaptation to be a bit harder to enjoy than the original, but still respectable. It seems like it will be an insurmountable task to properly adapt the backstory of the various charas as told in the OVAs as well, like Reuenthal & Mittermeyer, etc. |

| Reinhard had surely a thing for Siegfried. He treatment was too special. His reaction to Anne's rejection was just more confirmation. I know there's a lot of denial and hate toward canonizing this, but no friendship is that close. The only difference between a lover and a friend is the intensity of love. Even Yang was over his lover sooner then Reinhard over his "friend". And no one plays with and keeps the hair of a deceased friend. Just change the gender of Siegfried and no one would doubt about their attraction. |

| Alright, after completing two seasons of the new series, I couldn't help but feel disappointed in how the story was told in every episode as I was watching. Pacing was simply too fast and lacked many important details that made the original OVA so great. Despite having shallow storytelling, the new one is still enjoyable in some aspects (cool OP & ED songs, good choice of VAs, decent visuals). Not as good as the OVA, but I think it has its own strength to appeal to newcomers. I'm looking forward to Season 3. |

| Trunicht cracks me up for some reason. He's such a devious, smug bastard and while he has one of the most suitably punchable faces, he just keeps coming out unscathed. I couldn't help but laugh during his secret meeting as he's basically every negative thing that those politicians described Yang as. Well overall, Seiran has brought this fresh pilgrimage about a quarter of the way. In the grand scheme, this is all still but a warmup and I'll eagerly await the next entry into this remake. 9/10 for all three parts. |

| These 4 episodes were great. Im very surprised they killed off the red-hair guy so early in the anime (im assuming this is gonna be 100 episodes like the OVA, which is why I say early in the anime) I am getting a bit worried now, in that, by watching the last two minutes of this episode, it now feels like the story will now focus on bringing in new enemies in order to prevent the final battle between Yan and Blonde, and just milk the story. Lets see |

| Of course, the politicians are feeling threatened by Yang. Yang is being very cautious with Julian, it seems that he doesn’t want him to be harmed while being in the military. Reinhard has officially acquired even more power. Our two main characters have lost the most precious people in their lives “My friend” Reinhard :( I’m missing Kircheis too, he was a kind man. Reinhard is 21 and Yang is 30, woah the age gap. |
