Idk...this sort of felt like a series' finale? Didn't make much of an impact though imo. (somewhat even relaxing to watch compared to a few of the previous episodes)

Still, I do have to admit this episode continued to show Arata as a kind person who is willing to help people regardless what problem they have. Eh, this anime was so-so/average for me. Nothing special but watchable.

An another with no memory because of something broken (?). It seems like he only remembers something about honey.

Ah, so Maeno-san's character's sister decided to stay as student. A meeting to think about the future.. as her older brother.

Main guy brought that another back home, so both another in his house got jealous and left. He accompanied another for a long time for a place to live. Main guy getting energy taken away without another, who became younger, realizing.

A certain honey makes him remember something... A God from Ukraine?

The statue being put in exhibition and going around the world.

Both returned seeing that another is gone.

It's like an extra ep. after last ep. (last ep. felt like the real finale)

I cannot wait for OVA (include in manga volume releasing in November).

2 more OVAs also announced (releasing October w. pre-streaming via Hikari TV on September)!

This show was very weird. Some episodes were very pointless like the drinking contest while the second episode and third episode were annoying. Anyway, not bad, could have been better. 6/10 for the anime.

This is an average series, but the last episode caught me off-guard, it gives me a completely different feeling, almost Ghibli-esque in scene when Arata living and waking together with Volos god. It's kinda like they're living in harmony not in the countryside like Ghibli but in the middle of Shinjuku.

Last week episode could be better as a finale, but this as a kind of epilogue is fine too. I wished to see more of Yuki and Kohaku tho.

Anyway, really enjoyable show. It's really underrated comparing to the scores it got here and MAL (because apparently some a$$hole trolls bombard it with really low score of 1, ffs)

One of the thing that I love in this series is that they included fictional creatures from all around the world. If only the series is longer, we could see more of them tho.

It's far from great or amazing, but not mediocre like some of the scores showing. An average for other people, but a solid 7/10 for me personally.

Liked the series and a good episode...but yet another show where the finale is the week before :> This would have been a better mid season episode, with the last being finale.

it was an average anime but somehow I really enjoyed it. nothing spectacular, sometimes chaotic, the characters may be a bit shallow and the art style can be pretty bad at times but it was pleasant to watch, I looked forward to new episodes every week. I had no expectations at all so I was pleasantly surprised, wouldn't mind a second season honestly.

The animation was sketchy at times but it was a pretty interesting and entertaining anime imo. I didn't get bored with it however I wouldn't want to own the Bluray or rewatch it. Ill watch the OVA's though in October

Episode 12 didn't feel like a last episode, they had to let episode 10 and 11 be the last 2 episodes lol.

Nothing stood out much in this anime, but the problems, mystery and variety of "anothers" were good enough to make it bearable.

This episode feels really out of place for a finale? Compared to last weeks episode, it's like they got the airing order mixed up.

Another thing I realised, the moments he's just talking to the guy on the street. Wouldn't it just look like he's talking to himself? Lol and people just walking past not reacting.

Overall it wasn't a bad series, nor was it a good one. Certainly had some interesting and fun moments but overall it was underwhelming 5/10.

This episode felt more like an epilogue and last week was more of a finale. Overall the show was better than I thought it would've been. 7/10 feels like a good score for it and I wouldn't mind a second season.

So teh final episode turns out to be a sleazy one...with the effect of this episode, thankfully the OVA will cover more of this. Still so-so though.

And @Swizze you're not seeing things. Production staff wants it to end this way, so let it be.

So...an Another with amnesia? That's weird.
And Arata is tasked with taking this mysterious Another to a place as a home (vessel) for it.

And it eats honey. And so it does that with memory resurfaced, it gains something.

A happy ending I guess?

Overall, nothing special, not good but not bad either. 6/10

So it ended airing on the same mood than many other episodes : a story that ain't related to something bigger, just a kind of random Another they decided to focus on.

Well, I think this 12th episode should have aired before the 10th & 11th, adding this episode's final line at the end(Arata explaining his job). Frankly it was quite enjoyable to watch, one of the good points being the fact that they used different mythological entities or creatures, from different part of the world (Aztec, Japanese, Greek, Ukrainian, etc).

If we forget the fact most episodes could have been swapped between each other (I mean, they could have aired at any slot), this show was more like a compilation of independant stories that were not related between themselves.

I'll keep the 7/10.

I loved this episode and the inclusion of a God outside the Japanese pantheon. Glad Volos got his memories and power back. Little interesting tidbit, the home Arata found him is an actual Slavic representation of Veles. Glad the people that made this series did their research.

Small info dump if someone is curious:
Wikipedia said:

Veles/Volos is the chthonic god of cattle—whence his other name, Skotibog, which literally means "Cattle Giver", but also master of the forest and of wild animals, and god of commerce. He is also the god of poetic inspiration and sight, as highlighted by his name which comes from the Indo-European root *wel, which implies sight and magical ability. The Book of Veles is dedicated to him. Walgino is the name of the cattle god in Polish tradition, though Weles is more common nowadays. Also known as the "Horned God", Veles is a male god of the earth, incarnating the "Black God" of dual theology. As such he is the opposite of the heavenly manifestations of the "White God" (Svarog and his sons, but especially Perun). An alternative name of Veles that was used by Baltic Slavs is Tjarnaglofi ("Black Head", identifying him as Chernobog). The name Zembog literally means "Earth Giver" and may refer to Veles. He is compared to the Indic Varuna, the Celtic Esus and the Norse Ullr amongst others.
Veles is one of few Slavic gods for which evidence of offerings can be found in all Slavic nations.

I feel like this series had a lot of potential, but ended up being really average. I wanted so much to really love it, I adore series about the human world interacting with the spiritual, but this ended up rather flat.
It was a nice relaxing episode, but I had no idea it was going to be the last one until the end of it.

There were tons of Gods that existed in ye olden times for bringing good luck in farming and stuff, I'm pretty sure this is the Wikipedia page for the God that was featured in this episode; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Veles_(god)
And I think they revealed at the end of the episode that the God was there because his statue (or whatever it was called) was transported to a museum in Japan.

The series was pretty enjoyable. I like Japanese folklore (and all kinds of folklore, regardless which country they're from) which is part of why this show was nice. Of course, the animation wasn't the best and a lot of the characters had generic appearances. It reminded me of the type of animation I'd see in the early 2000s which is probably why it didn't appeal to most. There were some episodes which were boring.

Overall, I'd give it a 6/10.

This was fine. Animation was good, story was alright....It just felt like something was lacking. I normally give something like that a 6/10 But I usually know the lacking factor...I think it might have been me, and my life at this moment...so I'm not going to give it the rating I thought, and bump it up one notch.

Another pretty mediocre series, had couple of decent stories, couple of really badly handled ones. Was hoping there'd be more mystery in it, but the series ended up being just your regular yokai story, which involved the sob story behind each misunderstood yokais.

Almost wanted to drop the series when Koharu was introduced but hanged on when Koharu started looking at Arata as himself and not Seimei, even though he sees the semblance. Koharu still sucks though, he's the type of fetishized androgynous character that's always in some of the most generic anime series ever. It's disgusting.

Arata doesn't have anything at all to distinguish himself from all the other generic good guy protagonist that's always thinking from the good side of things. In other word, he's pretty boring.

Not really much of a main plot to find, just a series of different cases. I think this series would have had a bit more impact if it was a bit darker, for example not giving back the body parts in the episode with azazel, or some cruel consequences for the scar dude last episode.

Overall pretty decent series, enjoyed it more than I expected

For what it was, I thought this anime was pretty cute - I’m always a fan of episodic mystery shows and anime that feature mythical creatures as an abnormal yet largely innocuous presence and this one did it great in my opinion.

For how nonviolent most of the show was (even in circumstances where a demon stealing someone’s eyes and they somehow end up completely okay), I cannot stress how weird it is for it to feature a scene where a ghost who was heavily child coded gets curb stomped and a situation where hundreds of ghost babies get burned to death? Like, oh my god? And then it ends on an episode where Arata is feeding a homeless god honey while never dwelling on what just happened a few episodes before?? The tonal shifts, while not… bad I guess?, were completely out of place with the rest of the anime. It didn’t hurt my enjoyment of it, but it did leave me feeling quite bewildered.
