THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Good amounts of action this epsiode.

It managed to keep its momentum with Diavolo, Sex Pistols, etc. (I always find Sex Pistols to be the amost amusing Stand in the entire series) So much tension in this episode too. Felt like it's more about survival than actual winning a fight.

Loved the OST usage of this episode.

Good episode,

Narancia's death was executed much better in the anime, it wasn't that great in the manga compared to how Abbachio's death was handled. The highlight of this episode for me was again, the voice actors, who are still doing a wonderful job with portraying the other characters. Looking forward to the next episode.

Overall, 4/5

Although I knew what was coming, Narancia's death has hit me even more in the anime than it did it the manga. I wanted him to go to school and live a normal life, rip my boy :(

Even though it got less attention than Abbacchio's death, Narancia's passing was more emotional. My 2nd fav character, right after Bruno. Sucks for him to be gone.

I never mentioned this last week but I always love seeing the creativity of the minds of those producing this series when it comes to changing the OP during the boss fight in the final few episodes.

Anyway, when Narancia prematurely celebrated Diavolo's "defeat" and started saying all of the things he wanted to do afterward it was pretty clear he wasnt making it to the end of the episode. RIP Narancia, that's one of the things I both hate and love about Jojo. No one, not even one of the main/major characters, is safe. I hate seeing Jobros die, but at least it shows that they dont get plot armor simply because they're buddies with the MC. T_T
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol.

Animations were okay I guess but since we are nearing the end I'm expecting more and Narancias death flag felt really forced. I almost felt nothing when he died unlike Abbacchio.
But all in all this episode was still enjoyable.

Narancia's death was much more emotional than how it was in the manga. Perhaps the added scenes of Aerosmith flying over Fugo and Abaccio's tomb did it, perhaps the music did it.

With that death out of the way, we're finally in the endgame now.

That episode was utterly amazing with all its tension and emotions!

I got spoiled some time ago that Narancia died in the manga and I even searched up some informations about how his death looked like in the manga. I liked way more how it looked like in anime adaptation. Not because it had more impact by having voice and sounds (though it was more dramatic), but because of tension built up directly before and after this scene happened. Additional scene with Fugo that from what I heard didn't appear in the manga was great. David Production once again proved how awesome they are in creating new episodes of JoJo's anime adaptation.

Bucciarati is a true leader. He knows his subordinates to the point of knowing which one has what talking manner.

Polnareff's trick with picking up an arrow was smart, but I dunno if other Stands won't rebel against touching it even when somebody else who's not a Stand user is holding it.

Definitely 10/10 episode, not only because of drama, but also if we look at its great visuals, animation and music.

But Narancia... wake up... ;__; he wanted to live a peaceful life once everything ended, to go to school and eat his favourite pizza. Poor Narancia. ;(

Bucciarati's ability to calmly and quickly determine the nature of any situation is still so impressive to me. He's seriously one of the best Stand users we have ever seen, up there with masterminds like Risotto. I still can't get over how ridiculous it is that Polarneff is now a fucking turtle. I didn't expect the Stands to attack their users in response to approaching the Stand Arrow. That's an interesting development. I honestly thought Bucciarati's body would never wake up, seeing as it is supposed to be dead. Now that I'm rewatching the episode, it just makes it even sadder seeing Narancia want to talk about going to school and getting pizza. His death was so out of nowhere, just like Abbacchio's. What a painful way to go too. It was immediately obvious that he died instantly. It looks like one of those metal rods pierced his brain. I really liked the symbolism they had with the bird flying away. We even got to see Fugo again, which according to other comments was a David Production original scene. Well done. I wonder how that split personality thing would work. Prior to that development, there was a body for every mind swapped, so throwing additional minds in there without a body is weird. Does Diavolo even have a body? It looks like it was just his Stand that was walking around. Diavolo is a pretty smart dude too, being able to rationally conclude that Nariancia was the most dangerous member of the gang then. I almost felt bad for Chariot Requiem, seeing it fall on its face so miserably. They have possession of the arrow, so what now?

Abbacchio death happens by him taking the 4th slice of cake in episode 5 and Narancia death happens at the same time as four bullets fall, Mista has been right since the beginning. F

Overall this death wasn't that much impactful to me but the way they animated that fence scene was really good and i'm so glad they added Fugo in this episode.

Fantastic ep, loving how good the art and animation has been, the OST was on point as well this time. But god damn, that scene broke my heart worse than it did for me in the manga. The additional stuff with Fugo was genuinely surprising, I wonder, does DP plan to bring him in for the resolution or something?

So Narancia's death came as a surprise to no one. They couldn't have telegraphed it more even if they tried.

Also, isn't it obvious that, if there were X bodies and X+1 "minds" before (because the boss had 2 personalities), then now someone else has to have two personalities inside their own body? And if King Crimson's range is only 2 meters and it was able to kill Narancia, then Diavolo's mind surely must be inside one of them.

My guess is that Diavolo's inside Mista's body along with Trish, and that's why she can't pinpoint the boss' location and why she saw King Crimson at the end.

Also, why did Giorno's soul go back to his body after Narancia died? And why was Giorno's body ok after dying, instead of becoming "undead" like Bucciarati? Shouldn't Bucciarati's soul and body then also go back to normal if they killed and cured his "undead" body now? What's the difference between the two cases? (that's all rethorical though, I'm sure these are plot holes and any explanation will come from fans trying to rationalize this crazy plot, not from the author).

the difference between bruno and giorno is bruno was killed inside his own body his soul is trying to move on, giorno was not he still got his soul narancia is the one who got killed the body is just an empty shell he could inhabit

- He had his torture dance
- His friendship with Fugo (he was also very dear to Mista and he stood for Bruno when Trish asked about his behavior back in the Green Day & Oasis Arc)
- His backstory and entrance to Bruno's Gang
- His battle with Crush and Talking head
- His denial with Abbacchio's death
- Beating a stranger to a pulp with Mista and Abbacchio
- How he thought his situation was similar to that of Trish and decided to be a traitor against Diavolo
- His desire to live a normal school life

Narancia might be quite be slow at thinking but he does have his moments. I'm not implying Part 5 is by any means perfect, but your criticism ends up being swallow.
