| Ueno's butt cannot catch a break, isn't? Good thing Tanaka stopped her before things ended in tragedy. The female tennis club's captain was adorable. I thought she was going to be annoying at first, but her clumsiness made her very endearing. Also I just noticed some of the characters of this series look like Monogatari characters. I mean, I noticed the resemblance Kitanaga and Nishihara had with Nadeko and Kanbaru, respectively, but I just assumed it was a mere coincidence. However, after examining the designs of Tanaka and his sisters, I couldn't help but to think of the similarities they have with Koyomi, Karen and Tsukihi (three siblings composed of one older brother and two younger sisters who are big troublemakers, the three of them with an ahoge, black hair and gray eyes, though Tanaka's eyes are black). I know many people have pointed this out a lot, but as a big fan of Monogatari, I'm quite shocked I didn't realized about that sooner.   I mean, I'm not saying that Ueno-san is a rip-off from Monogatari or anything, heck, I like Ueno-san myself, but those are so many similar looking designs to be just coincidence. If anything, it makes me respect the author of the series more knowing he's a Monogatari fan, lmao. |
