Ah yes, the life of a working at a bookstore...

Also, I find it kinda amusing how of a funeral photograph for Honda considering the way he is. The deathbed jokes were amusing.

Wow thats one popular book that Honda's searching for. One whose popularity completely outstripped its supply. The insight into turnover rates for new books sure was insightful as was how the stores deal with new releases that aren't selling. The hallucination scene was pretty amusing. The life cycle of books within the store was also pretty interesting.

ah, book's life cycle. it's kinda interesting that he made an example out of a book about ebola, that's quite a niche topic. though, strange how he didn't touch the adaptations part, that causes sudden rebirth for some books or manga

I will say this show has shown me a lot about what goes on behind-the-scenes in bookstores and holy shit does it give me anxiety just thinking about it lmao

This show is precious and so is Honda-san. Too bad about those poor non-consenting books.

The manga that was referred to seems to be Yokohama-eki SF based on a quick search.

Eh... that hallucination tho... I think I've seen too many "911/FBI" memes recently. Probably, I should stop with that, yes...

That aside, I liked this episode, very informative about the life cycle of books and the example with the Ebola one was nice.

LOL so many head-shots to Honda-skull face/head!
this episode was so meaningful! you'll really gonna have problems even sending back the unpopular book and problems to customers explaining that its out of stock and you're the one who getting bashed instead!
the part where he's getting yelled for mentioning e-book was for sure happened IRL! lolz!
5/5.

Wow, there are so many things going on in a bookstore that you never think about as a customer ^^ I hope books will never be completely replaced by their electronic versions. I read those too, but there is nothing like a proper book :)

weird how the episode makes this seem so popular but here on MAL it hasn't been rated (nor there is a synopsis) and there seems to be no scanlations available. damn, i want to read it now

An interesting episode.
All weebs creatures of the galaxy, hear this message. Those of you who listen will not be struck by western animation. You will no longer know hunger, nor pain. Your Anime have come to lead you now. Our strength shall serve as a luminous sun toward which all intelligence may blossom. And the impervious shelter beneath which you will prosper. However, for those who refuse our offer and cling to their western animation ways… For you, there will be great wrath.

Fun ending I must say and quite interesting to be honest to know about the lifespan of a book!

I wanna read Yokohama-eki SF but it seems to be a rather obscure manga outside of Japan though.

It's interesting to know about a bookstore book's life cycle but it still sucks to only see a certain number of volumes of a certain manga available because some of them not selling well.

That poor book got its cover ripped open so lewdly even before it was picked up by someone else lul

Yokohama-eki SF!
I want to read it, but I haven't. I know there are a lot of people here who misunderstand me, but it was the novel that appeared in the anime, not the manga.

There is a comic book version, but I don't think many people have read that one.
