Citrus is way rapey tbh, first there's the side of Mei's complete social ineptitude making her unable to understand what other people feel or want and then there's that other girl who shows up and is just a straight up asshole and harasses Mei out of pure spite.

Yuzu: "Yo Mei why did you rape me? You can't just do that to people"
Mei: "Idk bro, it looked like something you wanted me to do"

Yuzu was pestering Mei about kissing the teacher. She thinks it must have been great because kisses should be like 'magical'. But Mei forces herself on Yuzu much like how she felt forced upon by the teacher and that it wasn't enjoyable either. This was Mei's way of expressing her experience/pain to Yuzu and to show her that kisses arent always like a fairy tale. It's backed up when she says "that's how it felt" while looking very sad. I thought it was good story telling that gave insight about how Mei feels 👍

That sounds logical,but can you tell me why did she continue doing things like this?(i watched all the way to ep 10 ) and i saw alot of insences where she pushed herself onto Yuzu like the bathroom scene(which is very uncomfortable may i add) and not even just Mei,theres alot of people(im trying not to spoil anything) that dont ask for consent in this anime and that really makes me feel bad.

Read the manga instead, but yeah always got a rape vibe from Mei. She's almost abusive towards Yuzu for nearly the whole story so far. But I guess yuri fans are still supposed to be happy because lesbians?

That's a little tricky. I thought it was also out of place and thought she was just messing with Yuzu. But I think its because she has strict rules and responsibility that she feels everyone controls her.(and that whole teacher situation). Even in ep 2 when the grandfather forced her to live with him. So she enjoyed being in a dominant position where she was the one in control of Yuzu. This obviously isn't a good thing, but after Yuzu shut her down *spoiler* When she slaps her, you can see she finally starts to understand that what she's doing was wrong.as for the other characters, I'm not super interested in them :/ but I do admit they could have done it better.

I don't think the show is being apologetic or is glorifying this kind of behavior (at least that is not what I got out of it). The first few episodes are about Yuzu dealing with the confusion of what happened.

I agree that would be nice, but I still prefer anime like Citrus which feature hardship of a forbidden homosexual relationship.

There are adult love story mangas and manhwas waiting for adoption. I would definitely like to see few adapted at some point.

I recently finished Love Doctor ( https://www.anime-planet.com/manga/the-love-doctor ), which might be what senpaiazula would like. It does have drama, but nothing too crazy. It's more down to earth stuff for most part and also features a small, but meaningful age and experience gap to spice up things.

I also like "It Would Be Great if You Didn't Exist", which is more soap style story between two adults with less uncertainty than exists between young girl's love stories. But its a soap drama, so expect some rough plot twists and such.
