| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Yum, the texture and coloring really bought a feel of taste into the ramen content this episode. Misa, Yuu, and Jun all experiences it alongside Koizumi. I think it was an unique experience for all of them. I think it was kinda interesting to see Koizumi eating ramen with a kid much younger than she is though in the second half of the episode. They also looked really adorable in their yutaka! |

| Uh oh Yuu, looks like onii-chan might love Koizumi! Or at least be inspired by her! Lucky he hasn't made the connection between them...yet. But it does remind me, if Koizumi doesn't grow up to be the CEO or a ramen company or something I'll be surprised. XD I mean, she can even speak German for crying out loud! Cute little girl btw, and always nice to see a mother and daughter reunited. :) Brooklyn huh? Not a location I'd immediately associate with ramen but sure, why not? XD |

| I am actually surprised Yuu didn't immediately make the connection of ramen -> beautiful girl -> Koizumi. Whoa, that really does look hot as hell... Yuu and Koizumi actually got along surprisingly well this time. ^_^ Nice yukata. Less nice German. |

| First episode of the show that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed a lot, probably because the second half didn’t include Yuu in it, lol The information about all the different types of ramen is always interesting, and the ramen itself looks so delicious The German was unexpected and a nice touch! |

It's how the writer keeps the relationship between them the way it is. (Can't go closer except of ramen. Or more like: only ramen can make them close. As the title.) Is that a good thing? Depends on what you're looking for. Me I'm looking for girls slurping and eating. So ofc it's a good thing. Plus, Sakura Ayane being on creepy mode is also a bonus to me. Yeah. Don't care about the manga. |

| Let's be real here, all this ramen eating probably got old for the most of us by episode 2 but I gotta admit this lost german girl was a nice change of pace. Also it was cute as hell. |
| That foreigner russian little girl Hannah is so cute she even set aside her worries of being lost because of her hunger and she got a share of Koizumi's Ramen! That russian style Ramen looks good! yum! even the brother of Yuu (Shuu) was enthralled by the beauty of Koizumi-san! 24/7 ramen shop are convenient! 4/5. |

| Jun and Misa eating together was alright. Never heard of cold ramen, I thought ramen was meant to be eaten hot always. Ramen during the summer is always welcomed, I always find ramen good regardless if it's summer or winter. Seeing Koizumi eat with someone other than the main 3 girls was refreshing. I found Hannah's voice so adorable. And in the end Koizumi got to eat more ramen. |

| 4/5 So the first part was just fine. I've seen the "summer is so hot" thing SOOO MUUUCH in anime that it has gotten very boring to watch. The cold ramen thing was different but the dialogue just very meh, quite boring by this anime's already fairly low standard. And nothing came of being introduced of Yuu's brother. Seriously nothing, what was the point in that. And with the key realisation that I'm not actually interested in ramen and don't enjoy watching it being eaten and hearing the slurps that much, I was ready to drop this after that first half.. But the second half redeemed it. This part they made interesting. Completely new and instantly more interesting than the regular urban/suburban Japan setting. The lost German girl was a random thing but it lead to the German ramen shop nicely. I wonder if she was speaking broken Deutsche, can't tell haha. Probably. But anyway letting Koizumi carry the second half in her reserved way has made me like her more and want to let this carry over to the next episode. |
| First half was not too bad but the 2nd half was awesome. CUTE LOLI added alot of points by default ofcourse. Koizumi waving back was kinda unexpected lol. Cute episode overall. |

| Pretty original. Who would have thought they have showa-styled restaurant district/museum in Yokohama. The atmosphere was nice and it's good to know it really exists. |
| And here I thought maybe, just maybe Koizumi is slight... finally change her mind about Yuu. Too bad it's just Yuu and her dream thought. Well aside from the creepy thought about Euglena, I guess since it's class rep that talks about it which means that's pretty "normal" right? |

| Y-Y-Yikes. Yuu brother going after Koizumi 🤡 I'd be down for breakfast and cold ramen. I might have to make hiyashi ramen soon since summer is coming! The portion with Koizumi and the child was probably one of the more enjoyable portions of the entire series so far. If anything I wish we just had more of her and no one else. 😂 |
