| An Update to my previous Discussion: The Citrus Dub has been announced to be coming out for simuldubbing on Thursday, January 25th, 2018! So here we are gonna discuss our expectations on how the dub will turn out. Will it be good? Will it be bad? Who's gonna voice Yuzu and Mei? Will it be a Solid Dub like Most Funimation Dubs or will it be more free-flowing like their directions on 'A Silent Voice' and 'Your Name'? | Regardless of the quality, I do think it's a cool thing that a full-on Yuri anime not only gets the attention it's getting but a dub to boot. If I had to talk about my expectations for the dub quality, however, they're low. The actresses probably won't even be attracted to women, and I imagine it will be one of those "middle-aged women trying to sound like angsty teen girls" dubs. Except worse, because it will be a "straight middle-aged women trying to sound like angsty teen lesbians" dub. I'm pessimistic though, so I guess I can either be validated or pleasantly surprised... |

| Watched a bit of the dub and I have to say that it's pretty good so far. |
| I don't hate dubs, but Funimation uses all the same exact voice actors in every anime so literally every show they dub sounds the exact same as any other one they dub. It's all super generic voices to me. Same goes for Citrus, it's not a bad dub but it sounds completely the same as any other Funimation dub. |
