THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Dang, that foot might take some time to heal. Eh, this finale felt kinda blend tbh. While it makes sense to do another race, I wasn't too invested into it by this point. Miyata and Meguro's fight felt like it was bringing drama for the sake of drama. For what's worth, I think this show tried to bring out everything it could possibly can. 5/10. Average at best for me. |

Honestly this anime was very average at best i didn't mind watching it tho. The racing scenes where nice but the characters where stereotype and they didn't stand out the mains where only fighting over a guy and the other characters had forced drama. There where some funny scene tho. But the thing that really has to be said is, the ending was terrible. |

An alright show. Not as bad as a lot of the other stuff this season. The other racing pairs got shafted in the finals though. How is that even a thing? |

This show was really uncomfortable to watch with the dynamic with the coach. I can't say I expected the ending, but it got a smirk out of me with the break-up. I guess that's something. Still this show was really bad. I was really only watching week to week for the new Mao and Hitomi gags, which never failed to make me laugh. This was a bad episode purely for not having one of those. 3/10 |

Pretty convenient victory and turn of events but hey I guess it was fun enough. That fight in the rain was pretty forced. xD Overall, average show. It could've been better and I was hoping for more focus on the racing aspect itself and it not just be a plot element. Characters were decent enough for me to pull through the show and they were fun to watch at points. We certainly could've done without the whole coach drama but all's well that end's well I suppose? 6/10 |

Well this anime is just ok. Not bad, not good either. A CGDCT anime for sure. Still enjoyed it tho. I give it 6/10 overall initially. But no Hitomi and Mao episode, dropped to 5/10 overall. |

Well it was a 5/10 to begin with. Then it had to cop out and only give Megumi a mildly torn tendon in her foot. No damage to the bike. Even allowing it some magically approved upgrade in the middle of the night. A fight in the middle of the race... in the rain! And topping it off with a giant middle finger of an ass-pull win. 2/10. Only because the coach got dumped by Betty and he's still an oblivious f*ck twa@t. |

Hmmm.... The racing part was nice but yeah predictable and i hope this anime would have concentrated on the racing part and the drama wasnt that good. Also the music was good when they raced that hyped me lol im too simple. |

This is the first show in a long time that I honestly got really mad about. I mean it fails on so many levels. If this is the level of quality Silver Link brings to their 10 year anniversary anime than congratulations there will be no 20th anniversary. 1/10. |

Hmm the ending was fine but now that I thought about it with the series, despite enjoying the characters and all, they have essentially forgotten the race aspect which was rather disappointing I guess. Guess what happens when you finish something and then realize the faults being apparent. Overall for an 10th anniversary it wasn't too bad, but it did not lived up to something that can be reminded as something good for Silver Link. Still a better co-op project between Takayama and Tamura than Ange Vierge though, that show was just completely meh to me. Overall: 6-7/10, debating still what to give it by the time I write this. |

Hahaha, she dumped the coach! Basically our two main girls made her dump the object of their affections so he's up for grabs again! Overall the show was no more than 6 out 10, but this hilarious conclusion both to the race and to the love line pleased me a lot because it's not every day you see the main girls hold onto a crash on an older man and the show surreptitiously taking their side by kicking the age-suitable female rival out of the equation and leaving the door still open! Only for that it gets 7/10 from me. |

I was kinda hoping for the girls and Betty to talk and apologize but I guess it wasn’t a big deal. I found it weird that Megumi didn’t get hurt that badly but then again the twins crashed their ride twice and were fine. I thought they would move one only for them to revert back into their old selves when the coach was dumped. |

Not a good show, but not a bad show either. They could do better with this, maybe should've made the show a 13 episode instead of 12, with 13 being the actual epilogue to clear out loose ends after the main girls won the race at the middle of episode 13. The race scene could be prolonged a bit since well, it's the main race of the show, after all. Will miss the opening, since Sphere (the group doing it) will be on hiatus for making new materials until 2019. Overall, a 6.5/10. That half was from the ending where Betty dumped the coach and the scene with the other girls with the computer. And, it's a pretty late question, but does an F4 sidecar exist? I thought there are only F1 (the one with the 1000cc engine) and F2 (600cc, the one they use in the show). |

The supporting cast was what really helped this series shine for the most part, but once the series got towards the end and we were forced to focus on the main cast, it boiled down to an awkward, yet predictable, mess. The good and bad evened out enough to sink into a "slight above average" rating. I know Silver Link is capable of much more, so I won't count this against them too much. The real test of their quality (for me, at least) will come soon at the end of January when we get to see their Fate special. |

The series could have been much more, so I’m disappointed with how it turned out at the end. The quality of the show ranged from below-average to average. Still, giving it a 5/10 as my final score. A series that is suppose to be a studio’s 10 year anniversary anime should have more weight than any “Fate special/movie” should, imo. Also, it isn't the studio per se that's important, but the people hired (director, scriptwriter, chief animator, etc etc) to work on a particular project that are. |

Eh, ep11 maybe the best, needed Coach of all things to improve this false ad of a yuri show. Raised +1 to 3/10. The racing intensity actually well executed, just all the arguing pairs, especially mains were insufferable. Kyoto & Osaka pairs were interesting but sadly no backstory. Others were boring besides Nagisa & Chiyuki their bit of psychological conflicts. Ai & Neno probably the funnest pair with good backstory & commenting. |

Okay I don't get why everyone thinks the win was plot armors doing, pretty justified to me everytime especially this one (surprisingly well justified actually) people only sees their fight so they'll be like oh they fight again then they're gonna win again like always when they fight but if you see how well explained everytime when they overtake every single one of their opponents, pretty solid explanation by the side characters tbh There was a yellow flag so they caught up despite stopping and for a fight getting their feelings out, and them overtaking every single one of them is pretty justified tbh, them knowing the race course and each other was more than enough but add the explanation of the side characters, surprisingly justified for this kind of show For an overall predictable show did not expect the switch and that's great, the only exciting episode, best episode, but not enough to save the entirety of the show PS Yuri is a bit likable this episode surprisingly, she's just too childish, I think I ship them now. Megumi x Yuri (I don't mind them having a threesome with coach tho) 6/10 (was just gonna give this a 5 but I'm gonna be a bit biased, coz I love getting surprises at the end, and this final episode did it to my expectation) Lastly, my prediction from the previous episodes Ugh!! Predictable, still enjoyed it a little bit tho Ep10 thread #17 TsundeReaper said: If they did solve their relationship I think they'll lose bcoz them fighting is what makes them the best racers *sigh* a thought just came to me, this is really predictable, I think somehow the engagement will be called off and the two will fight again and start winning again (ep11-12 prediction) |

WELL DAMN. If I rated anime solely on finales, this would be 9/10 right here. I got way more into these last couple of episodes, much more than I needed to, and just took in all the feels... Though I'm questioning my ability to judge this anime properly after reading previous comments now... It's 1 in the morning, I'm tired yet full of energy at the same time, and watching the girls fight in the rain made me feel... special... Unfortunatley, this finale was attached to a more... lackluster anime for the most part. Couldn't get into it for the longest time, only reason I even finished it was because it was there and I had a lot of free time, just watched the last 4 episodes, though I'm glad I did because THAT FINALE WAS FREAKING GOOD. Anyway, anime wasn't bad, it was just... fine I guess. They took like 9 episodes just to introduce all the characters and goof around, with the remaining 3 being the first episode, and the finale. And the girls themselves weren't all that great, though I did quite like some of the twin's story and the main duo when they were actually the focus, but they weren't cute, so thats another point lost... Not much else to say really. 6/10. |

This show was the definition of mediocre in my mind. Far from the worst thing I've ever seen, but also sitting on so much wasted potential. I was actually kind of ok with them going from group to group and spending a few episodes on them working out their problems, but then they decided to focus too heavily on the main girls obsession with bitching at each other and fighting over coach Tanahashi. The twin sisters debacle was a little long too when you consider they just ended up going back to the way they started...but with a hair cut. Honestly, if they had focused on a few more of the pairs: the older couple (who were just a comedic gag between scenes) and the goth loli pair who could've literally not been written into the show and made zero difference, and then upped the fanservice and tossed in some real yuri, this would've been a 7-8 for me. Like, they went through the trouble of making all of the scenes with them putting on their race gear look provocative, all of the girls had nice bodies, shit load of scenes were in took place in the hot springs...should've just went all the way and thrown in a casual nipple or two. And since they had one implied official yuri couple, they should've had more. |

The race scenes were damn good. But, plot-wise, I enjoyed the side characters a lot more. Up to episode 11 hinted that Yuri and Megumi helped each girl as a build-up for the great finale... We were on the the verge of greatness, we were this close... But no, Sensei breaks up and the girls just go back to square one, all those feels in episode 12 were for nothing....all their character development on episodes 11/12 went for nothing. It could have been a great ending for an average anime, the girls stop fighting and they recover their friendship, racing for the joy of doing it. But no, let's just screw up the ending.... damn it. 5.5, extremely average. |

This show was alright when it was focusing on the different teams and characters but the main characters and their love triangle turned the show into a dumpster fire, add to that the way they won and the fact that at a certain point the plot demanded that they had to win it all lead to a pretty disappointing finale. Why did she dump him? nevermind I don't even care. |

This is most likely the worst anime I've seen all year, jesus that was so dumb that if I didn't force myself to laugh at how dumb it was I probably wouldn't be able to finish watching the cringe.. It was shitty at the beginning of the series but nowhere as trash as it is by the end. It was so (not) funny seeing that the coach was the only guy on the island, and he's surrounded by 15 girls at least. So apparently the coach asked his now ex fiancee to partner up with him and it turned into a proposal out of nowhere, and they knew each other for how long, 2 interactions? And she agreed to his proposal. That's not even the best (said no one ever) part about it, she dumped him for whatever reason at the end of the series just to open the dude up for grab for the 2 dumb main characters in the series who at this point probably hate losing to each other more than they like the guy. The only way this writer knows how to write drama is make the pair as similar as possible, while still trying to showcase their differences, oh and get them to like the same guy. The twin basically copied each other and now is a mirror of each other and they're basically the same freakin character, yay create 1 character and now you have 2 of them. ezpz. best part about this show is probably the Mao and Hitomi skit and even that has overstayed its welcome by the 7th or 8th episode. I don't know who greenlit this show thinking it's gonna be great.. making some kids play such a dangerous sports.. but eh it's anime, nothing will ever happen to them even if they crash into each other, the vehicle exploded and they're caught in the explosion. If there's a negative score that I could've given out, I would've given it to this. |

They really won that shitty tournament! Holy shit, man. Even if i knew the outcome, i still can believed they ended with so much bullshit. Its even not just a lucky fortune cookies for their winning glory! I mean, an accident, crashing hard till Megumi fly away. But she just got that shitty scratch with not much effect after all. Was that really happening in the races? Then the races time had been so crazy. Its a rain, they still couldn't overcome their burden. But, something shit happening. They both share a fair punched. Then the whole 'yippie' scenes actually coming. Yeah, they realising why they loved racing. Such a late attempt, i must gonna said! But, nope. Unknown like that could become an advantage for them as a solid MC. The power got escalated, even in rainy condition, they still raced like crazy. And then they won it! What a joke. I always laugh with that shitty illogical reason. Whatever. Even that coach now come back to his girls were an absolute rage for me. Was that really necessary? I mean, i needed more yuri bait. But, no. Shitty coach kept shitty in the end. And the twos girl would never realised their naives attempt. And then, the same circle must come till they died no matter future day happening! Thats it my ranting. Overall, i shall give this garbage a 4 in total (without much explanations. I am too lazy with that ending justification). However. Again. My kind heart really wanted to give a CGDCT show a bad scores. So, i must reconsidering some parts, and take some changed. In the end, 6/10 shall be enough with this show. If only Yuri and Megumi characterization felt way more nicely than happening there, i might gladly give a solid 7. But they still annoying till the end, so no smile for me. + rep 2 shall be too high depending how people considered what happening. But to me, its still in the level of standard. 6251 ppl compl while editting this |

It will be more interesting if they just drop that trash romance with that all big talk old man and more focused on the "real" progressing of the sport, what do you hope form an unknown sport to be more eye catching if not because how the plot stories goes not because of how lame romance it has, this anime is not bad and it has a good potential atleast but well the plot made it miserable, this anime is good to watch when you don't have any other choices again. I rate it 5/10 no more then that |
