DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol, they didn't waste any time showing off the fan service in this anime. I mean, even tthe first opener minutes had the girls barely dressed. I think the OP song is fine so far, nothing too special but works for this show. They didn't take time to introduce Yukihime right into this season. I think the highlight so far of this episode is the character chemistry between her and Touta. I feel the comedy is a hit or miss right now. Might have to get used to it like the manga. Action was okay, felt like it's more of a tease to set up for the bigger things. The second latter of this episode gave me more interest for this show and apparently, it's not afraid to show off some violence. |

| This episode adapted 1st chapter plus the flashback from chapter 129 xD. But, according to 13th volume after couple episodes they will skip 80-85 chapters. | A few things got changed or rearranged a bit but other than that, this was a pretty accurate portrayal of the first chapter of the manga I'll stick around to the end just to see this stuff come to life :'') I had the manga on hold for a while now so I'll use this anime to refresh my memory of things later on |

| An alright start so far. Some things were changed though, and for some reason, they even added a ghost Negi to lead Touta. It's nice to see Eva again though <3 Wonder how else they're gonna changed the story. Well, let's just hope it ends up being good. |

| Either way this is going to be a bit awkward for anime-only viewers to watch, but at least that's not my problem Nice to see it back animated again, though I think UQ Holder has a bit of a slow start (as did Negima for that matter) so it'll take a decent amount of episodes before it really gets going |

| Well the begining had me saying I'm not watching this, then the OP started and I'm like who the hell are all those people, then the fight happened and I felt like I was seing Araragi-kun 'All Over Again'. So I'm definetely giving this a try, but as someone who never finished the first anime neither read the manga, I hope I won't get lost in this because of that. |

I mean, even tthe first opener minutes had the girls barely dressed. why do you always say this like its bad or something??? anyway, as Negima! was my first harem/ecchi manga, and the first anime i watched online, ive seen everything up till this point, so this is the show ive had my eye on this fall and im not disappointed XD so much darker than all other Negima anime and i love how they cover the girls butts and not the dismembered body parts LOL also never really cared for Evangeline, but theres no way i dont now, she kinda fine than a mf XD |

| The opening tells me this will be 20+ episodes Absolutely loved the manga, and so far JC is doing a good job with it though I wish Touta had a more masculine voice, but I guess it fits him ...Wait I just rewatched the Opening, how come Santa is not in it wtf ? |

| Still not use to Eva's adult form voice being the same as her child form. Glad to see at least the limbs being cut off not being censored. Expect to see plenty more of that. Really hoping this is at least 2 cour. |

The quality of the animation and art looks so good too man......WHYYYYYY I'm just going to drop this show now, volumes 2-9 made me fell in love with UQ, and there's no point in watching this if they are cutting it all out Seriously why the fuck would they do that? Edit: I really wanted to see Volume 8 animated, especially chapter 85 which made me bawl my eyes out. :( |

| BEST VAMPIRE LOLI EVANGELINE A.K MC DOWELL FINALLY GOT HER TIME TO SHINE!!! The pacing is good, almost perfect adaptation if im not mistaken. This gonna be a great ride for us waiting for eternity for a proper adaptation of Negima franchise series. i wish they will adapt everything to a point before the current arc in manga. AS before that they need to do a proper flashback showing important stuff in Negima manga on what had happen in the past. Give this anime 2 or at least 3 cour!! |

| Really loved this, they adapted the first chapter mostly perfectly. At first I was iffy about Tota's voice and the changes they made having Negi's spirit showing up but it actually all came together well (I love none of the violence was censored. That was the part that worried me the most). Fantastic adaptation start to one of my favorite shounen manga series (Though I'm guessing its going to divert from the manga with how much they're pushing the connections to Negima this time around). |

| I'm still not sure about Touta's VA yet but I'm so relieved the violence wasn't censored. That was awesome! NEXT EPISODE MY BOY, KUROUMARU, APPEARS. I HAVE WAITED YEARS TO SEE HIM ANIMATED. I'm nervous about his VA too but I'm more excited than anything. I just hope his gender gets respected and isn't the joke of the show. |

| I don't think this will be a great hit among people who doesn't know Negima (the manga) ^^' .... but I'm happy to see that looks a decent animation and, for now (despite some details) is adapting well (what is new for Akamatsu works, XD ) anyway, I'm curious to see what they gonna do with the story... so much Mizore and Shinobu in the op and ending (and no Santa ^^' ), despite of how long take to them become relevant in the story ^^' ... |

| OKAY! This is my first pick of Fall Season! 1st episode was alright a bit rushed but follows the manga very well. Can wait to hear VA Hirose Yuuki voicing Kuroumaru Tokisaka... 4/5. |

| Pretty intrigued after the first episode. Looks like an interesting world. I didn't bother seeing the earlier shows (looked like a bit of a mess as far as continuity). I'm putting my faith that the creators will fill us in on any upcoming references to the past. |

| damn it's hard to judge when you already read the source. the pace looks good, no black censor like tokyo ghoul, art looks good so far, then the problem came when Touta and Eva adult mode start to speak. their voice is just "weird" or "doesn't feels right" even thought not as bad as "some other show". gonna keep watching this one for the sake to see my favorite arc but not a "top priority" in this season crop |

Lol but even so that's just my theory since Akamatsu said Dana won't appear in the anime adaptation of UQ Holder! except of OVA, and the only thing we can confirm for sure is the training arc might being butchered or at least missing some characters like Dana and Kid Eva/Yukihime. Though I'm pretty sure they'll gonna skipping a lot of chapters since Mizore and Shinobu shows up in the OP. (I will laugh if Santa becoming a Kotarou 2.0 where he never appear in any anime adaptation except of the OVAs and games lol) On topic: I'm not sure why Chapter 129 was adapted as part of episode 1's story plot instead of around episode 16 ~ 23 (It seem like the flashbacks will gonna cut in the later episodes of this show), the plot feel a bit rushed and the arts sometime look weird but it's ok-ish episodethough. It's seem people was too hype about this just because how faithfully adapted this episode is, but I telling you guys please don't being hype too much, because it's also having a similar case happen to the Negima anime where the first episode also faithfully adapted from the manga in the first episode and everyone ended up being disappoint for the not faithfully adapted and having a lot of fillers in it. I won't gonna hype about this anime and trust the staff teams until near the end of the show because how ridiculous the Negima anime adaptation is. |
