Most of the movies that are making the most money in BO are pretty bad, but I'm glad Evangelion, Summer Wars, and Haruhi did well. I expected Fate/Stay to do better than it did but it should do well on blu-ray.

Not surprising that popular movies are ranked higher. Haruhi and One Piece are the only two movies that are out of place. I find Haruhi's placement particularly odd, the only two explanations are that it's just not that good or that most people went to see it multiple times.

Oh dammm. All the movies I wanta watch is up there. Not surprised Eva and Summer Wars are the top two. I wish Lagann-hen was higher up. Can't wait for the Macross, Haruhi, and One Piece movie are coming out. Surprised up was even on the list, I wouldn't even consider it as an option lol.

Hmmm i'm not a fan of Pokemon or one piece or Haruhi, Kara no Kyoukai should've been higher since it was a great finisher for a great series, Tales of Vesperia is a great game haven't seen the movie yet but i know what its about so i cant wait to see haven't seen the Evangelion 2.0 movie yet but will probably after this post. Overall disappointed with everything here...OH yea summer wars was pretty cool cant remember if I had seen Higashi no Eden liked that one indefinitely.

Well, I'd have paid to see Pokemon... maybe the older ones. I can't imagine who is watching the new movies except the nostalgia freaks, and the children of the nostalgia freaks who have been forced to watch Pokemon by their Pokemaniac parents. Also, VG fans who won't give up.

On that first chart, doesn't anyone find it..well, disturbing..how only two movies are original IPs? And one of the two is a Disney movie...

Also, four are summaries/remakes.

since I really hate Evangelion, Pokemon even in 2009 beating it is awesome.

...even though the only good Pokemon movies were 2000 and the one with the pirate.

It's still big with the younger kids (and the aforementioned nostalgiamen). A lot of younger kids probably saw it, making it more successful than a lot of other things.

The DVD will be released on May 27. So until one of the fansub groups acquire it and translate it, we have to wait.

Probably around mid-June,the subbed movie will be available online.

So Evangelion remains popular even to this day...

And I thought Summer Wars was so much better, although to be fair I didn't watch Evangelion nor do I intend to. ;P
