| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Two episodes aired this week back-to-back! We got Tatara practice dancing with Mako Akagi. Seems kinda awkward at first but I think he can get used to it. The comedy came from a few delusional scenes (lol, the princess carry one with the marriage gave me good laugh) The dance under the sun (with the OST) looked beautiful.  |

| Two episodes in a row, hooray. This episode made me feel so warm, both for Tatara (who finally got a partner to dance with) and Mako (who can prove his brother she's a good dancer and deserves to be acknowledged). Tatara keeps demonstrating he's a good natural dancer and that makes me happy. On the other hand, I can understand what Hanaoka is feeling --like she's not reliable and cannot be trusted by her leader and those who work with her at the studio-- so I approve of her trying to put Hyodo in his place, but I'm worried she's going to take it too far, tbh. |

| Fujita got a partner who isn't Shizuku, and he can synch just fine with her. Great! I was afraid he'd be too fixated on Shizuku and unable to dance with someone else, I'm glad I was wrong. The thing I don't like though is that both Kiyoharu and that new Gaju guy have similar designs and especially the same hair color. It's too easy to mix them up. I wish the Gaju guy didn't have red hair but something different from Kiyoharu's red... And damn, 2 week break? That's awful... |

| Mako's brother is a douche bag. She deserves better. Tatara synced with her beautifully. Their practice dance was amazing. Looking forward to see them shut Gaju up. |

| Great episode. Mako is so adorable, I love her more than Shizuku. <3 Gaju feels like he could be a prick but I didn't exactly dislike him or anything. He does come off as a narcissist though. I loved the part where Tatara saved Mako from falling. The revenge practice in the park was beautiful, seriously how can anyone refuse those eyes? XD Sengoku is such a troll. xD 2 more weeks to the next episode, sadness. :( |

| Gaju just straight up dumps his sister for Shizuku, but will go back to her if she can dance better than Shizuku. Mako deserves better than that, so I'm glad she's partnering with Tatara for the time being. Seeing them practice together in the park was nice and they seem to have good chemistry. Also pretty interesting to see how Shizuku feels about Hyodo and how she has no problem moving on from him because of the issues she has with him. hifushvu012 said: Anykne know why ep 6 is on Aug 20? | "Gaju crap your pants" Sengoku is real troll. Gaju seems like a dick. How can he say that to Mako. Mako and Tatara dancing under the sun was absolutely beautiful. With more practice Tatara can make it. I want to see them dancing more. |

| Beautiful and simple dance with the sun in the background. Really great scene. Mako is love, very earnest girl. Her brother needs to be put down a notch for what he's saying. Fierce movements again and nicely animated. |

| I went from liking Shizuku to hating her in the span of 5 episodes. Thank god Mako and Chinatsu exist and personally can't wait for Chinatsu in particular. |
| Tatara's facial expressions were cute here. I like Shizuku, but prefer Mako as a partner for Tatara. I don't think Shizuku has no problem moving onto Hyodo, she's just pissed off and angry at everyone at the moment. Gaju may lead well, but he's a crappy partner if he can ditch his sister and then say he'll go back if she can dance better. He's basically the opposite or Hyodo, which is why Shizuku agreed to dance with him. She didn't look happy about it at the end scene. |

| I can understand why Shizuku is pissed off. No one trusts her with anything. All the nonsense Sengoku pulled was unnecessary if he simply told Shizuku what was going on. Even Hyodo was selfish in competing despite knowing his injuries and not telling her. Sure he thinks about her and clearly cares about her. But he doesn't trust her with the truth. And yeah Gaju is a crappy person and brother. Anyways, did find Mako and Tatara dancing together fairly cute. They'll make for a good pair right now. And she does deserve someone who is a decent person to dance with. Should be fun watching them work together. If nothing else made for an enjoyable scene near the end of the episode. No doubt Tatara is insanely gifted. But there's only two ways to go with a show like this. Either he has some gifts but it will take a very long time for him to get anywhere (Baby Steps) or give him a lot of talent that just never had anywhere to blossom and you can fast track it a bit. Plus there is a difference between having the potential to get into dance and the ability to win anything. |

| What was i even doing with my life up to this point? I mean, spending my summer trying to find a decent anime series, watching -and consequently dropping- some of the crappy stuff that's airing right now, putting this jewel off just because "oh, it's just a dance show, i'll watch it later" LIKE HELL IT IS. After binging through the five episodes released till now i pity myself for being such a fool. Now, after my monologue and about this episode, so many many feels. I kinda understand Shizuku's rage but she, more than anyone, should know how much Kiyoharu cares for her as a partner and the 'not telling her' when he's sick or in pain it's not him being selfish but rather putting her in the first place and not wanting to disturb her in any way. At least this is what i get of this whole thing. Tatara should've man up and take responsibility, but well i guess him being with Mako will teach both a great deal, and watching them grow will be a beautiful thing. Also, a satisfying thing, can't wait for her brother to choke on his own words. Now, what's this whole "2 week pause" thing????? Why???? Why when i decided to watch and catch up to it, it goes on a break?? Jesus, do i have to resort to the manga??!?!? Does anyone know the chapter i should read after this episode?? T____T Edit: never mind, it's not even that long i'm reading the whole thing :> |

| Great that we had two episodes this week, but it sucks that we'll have to wait two weeks for the new episode, ugh. Great episode though! The comedy in this show hits the mark for me somehow, I love it. And looks like Tatara found his partner as well. Mako is adorable. Can't believe how her brother can be like that to her. Definitely gotta shut him up. |
