| Absolutely unnecessary, I agree. I'd get the first and second seasons, maybe, but the this one is ridiculous. There's a reason it took the entire season, it can't be done in a movie. I'd be just willing to let some time pass without the anime, there's no need for this. |

| yes it is necessary s4 came out so late most people are gonna forget everything that happened so recap is necessary it'd take too long to watch like 50 episodes of s1 and s2 and s3 to get ready for s4 (same thing for s2 and s3) |
| I'm actually really grateful this exists because I haven't seen Haikyuu since the last season came out (like 3-4 years ago now?) and rather than rewatch the entire last season to remember what happened I can save time by watching this. |
