So I guess they're going to team up at some point. I do wish Kenshin would fight a little more, it's cool that he doesn't want to harm people, but damage need be done! |

You'd be completely killing off his back story. There's a good reason why he's like this, it'd be a shame just to throw that out for the sake of making him more "kick ass" |

| And we meet a new character! No clue how he can flick an oponnent into defeat, nor how he can hold such a sword, I'm not sure if I like him yet or not, we'll see. Was hoping for a great spar between Kenshin and Zansa.  |

| This show seems to twist every potential villain into being more evil whenever possible. The boisterous democrats (so to speak) became misogynist hypocrites and then try to kill Sanosuke. The yakuza in the earlier episode went from having an unfair deal to having no actual deal and just being essentially slavers. It lacks depth and continuity. That said, the setup for the non-fight was pretty cool with the wind blowing through the trees and the guy who sounds, looks, and says similar things to Jet Black (in Cowboy Bebop dub) out for revenge. I don't mind that there was no actual fight. Now there is drama and something to look forward to. Sanosuke's sword is ridiculously large, which I remember from Cartoon Network. Also, I hope it is explained more reasonably how he survived that dagger and knocked that other guy out with his finger. Was it a setup? Did I miss something? |

Sanosuke was one of the big four characters I knew about long before starting Samurai X. The others being Kenshin, Shishio, and uhh that Gatotsu Style guy. |
