Honestly, it's terrible.
There's no decent voice actor in whole Japan? As long as she doesn't sing everything is ok.
Or is it only my opinion, everybody else think different?

What I think is that these kind of songs are not suited for her voice, in her songs I feel her voice feels forced or something like that. In fact I like Miou's voice better when they're singing.
Also in ep5 for some reason I felt that the song Nino sang for the audition was off at some parts :/
Honestly I'd rather they chosed someone else for Nino's singing voice, I had expectations for it since she's all about wanting her voice to reach out so I expected a more powerful and unique voice.

Her singing is terrible, they even say it in the show. She is a prime example of a different, unique voice with no hint of basics. Hopefully it's just the voice actress purposefully singing bad for the sake of story line, and she gets better as the series goes on.

>The best episodes always the episodes when she sings so emotionally,
> when the first songs out people think they would like High School more because Miou voice sounds good but they can't stop listening to Spiral.
>Her voice actually unique, it is also beautiful in slower songs
>Actually fits with Canary image of episode 5

I think the writer and music producer purposely make her sing like that not only to fit with the storyline but also to have different feel than your average anime rock band, there is Bang Dream around if you just want your standard anisong and vocal. Nino's voice actress has beautiful voice and is clearly great singer by listed of songs she ever sang and she is also great voice actress.

I seem to be one of the very few ppl who actually love her voice lol. I can't help but listen to the Fukumenkei Noise songs nonstop, especially since last episode.
I already find her singing to be unique, I don't really know anything about music but the unpolished style feels really nice but then again, I dislike idols with sweet singing voices that are smooth and all sound the same

Yes, they are purposely making her sing like that. Ryoco-sensei asked Hayamin to sing this way because that's how her character sing. And if you listen to the full version of Fukumen's song, you can see how different she sounds too. There's a BIG difference between the anime ver. versus the studio ver..

Anyways, I love the anime ver. so much because I found it amazing how someone can sing like the way she sings. She sings putting her soul in it, like she's tearing apart. How can someone dislike it? That's exactly what the show wants to, letting her lose herself while singing, screaming her pain out. That's how Nino is, and that's how her voice sounds while singing in the firsts chapters. After some time, she starts to grow up as singer and as person too. You just need to wait, and to stop saying bad things about Hayamin's singing voice, lol. Her voice is pretty good, as you can see for example in Fukumenkei Noise's ending or Akagami no Shirayuki-hime's opening.

You just need to, you know, search a little. Google is your best friend. #pas

In the story, she's supposed to be a girl that never had any vocal training and just rely on her strong voice. She'll work that out in the future, hopefully we'll be able to see that in the anime. Also, it's not polite to offend an extremely talented seiyuu without seeing her other works first. I can assure you that there's nothing wrong with Saori Hayami's voice, they made it sound that way to fit the story better.

It's just really awkward in the start when she just sings lalala... like really uncomfortable.
But i think she is getting better, character development and all.
Then again when she goes beserk it's kind of strange

Nino's voice actress is Saori Hayami. Her voice is really soft and sweet. That music is not suited for her. They should have given someone else as her vocals in music. Anyway, those rock songs by her sounds terrible a lot to me.

Her voice is the best imo.
I still haven't watched this anime, but it seems like it's the composer's fault. Yes I blame the composer.

If you look at her past songs she has done same rock kind of songs too

She is main vocalist in SB69 (Show by Rock) Tsurezure, she sings solo most of their songs, like:
Sadame
https://youtu.be/vuSM8hBHCts

Melt lilith (Fate/Extra CCC) song is kind like jpoprock anison people used to
https://youtu.be/kZ31EvUlKTY

I don't know if anyone remember basquash (it is pretty old I notice she was only 18 that time) she was in Eclipse and moon passport is the song she mainly sing by herself the other members are just back vocal, there is her solo ver too without the back vocal but I can't find in youtub

Yes, you don't hear that kind of voice everywhere, if someone complain her voice is not unique

My conclusion, she is not sounding good enough for some people because the writer and music producer want her to sound like that maybe to convey her emotional flow better and of course Nino is still in state of learning, though I think Canary and Boderline are already perfect, listen to studio ver.

I think it's just the genre of music that just doesn't suit with her character's singing voice but that's just my opinion

But her voice is supposed to be very amateur (it was pointed many times in series) I don't like it too (mainly because I'm not into music like this, visual kei is definitely not my cup of tea) but it's fitting the story and I'm sure that producers wanted it in this way. This is exactly one of the difference between Japan and rest of the world. When someone is singing nio-that-good, then be sure that it was done on purpose.
I'm a little surprised, people seriously thought that she can't sing? Wow.

I'm sure she was asked to sing badly and not as her usual singing voice. The op and ed songs are all good tho. And Saori Hayami-san is a great singer! I'm still listening to her version of Yuki no hana in idol master cinderella. Still her best song for me

Saori is a good singer. It's just that this genre of music is not suited for her voice type or range. Someone like Lisa suits this kind of music more.

wtf are you saying, the songs are spot on.. wtf?

The songs are so fucking amazing, I like it a lot.

She can sing, it's a powerful voice that comes out very rough and that makes it fucking great.

She's straining her upper range when she sings and uses her throat not her stomach. It's audible by listening to it more closely. Someone with a larger range could do it no problem though. In most of the rock songs in this Anime, she's always a bit off when hitting the notes. I don't know if it's intentional or not.
