Some characters are so cruel in this series.

At least justice is served. I kinda wonder what this kid will grow up to be after the recent events this episode

Gotta love how awesome Kumehachi and Omasa were in this episode

I didn't expect to get a episode focusing on Heizou's wife but I must say, it was quite the enjoyable and heartwarming episode

Nice to see an episode focusing on Hisae. Her ex-lover is a scumbag for kidnapping her daughter. Justice was served when she got rescued. Heizou loves Hisae no matter what her past was. I loved that. This was a great episode.

And another good episode.

Things I liked about this episode

1.The use of visual metaphors.....like the use of autumm leaves to represent Hisae's first time, and the use of sakura blossoms, and the snow falling off the branch to reveal a fresh shoot to represent the new hopes that Heizo's proposal brings to Hisae's life.

2.The fact that today, the Arson Squad does not always need the chief to be effective.

3.The fact that there are no secrets between the Hasegawa copule...which in a way got this case sorted.

Ojun becoming the damsel in distress seems to be becoming some sort of running gag in this show tho....

Second this.

I really liked how Heizou was willing to accept Hisae even after she was betrayed.

I kinda teared up when Ojun and Hisae reunited. xD
The ronin guy was totally trolled by Heizou when he started laughing after he tried his best to intimidate him, I loved that. Serves him right.

Really sweet moment at the end between husband and wife. :)

Can't tell if the Arson Squad is effective or incompetent.

Ah, an episode focused on Heizou's wife and her past. That was awesome.

And as usual, Heizou is awesome. So smooth.

I like the fact that this episode focused on Heizou's wife and the Arson Squad without him to support them. My only gripe was his son, I didn’t expect him to defeat the Ronin/scumbag but he was incompetent in trying to defend his family honor. They were alerted because of him, he almost got killed too, I know this was done on purpose to awaken his serious side but it was a letdown I wanted him to kickass for Ojun & his mother pride.

The Ronin was dumb AF even without Hisae's father telling him, Heizou was his neighbor he clearly knew what was going on...

Hisae is a strong woman because of his husband and vice versa Heizou because of his wife.

I want to see Tatsuzou become a bad@sss before this shows ends (maybe an epilogue or a couple of years have passed route before to show that he is going to be able to protect his family & maturity)...

I enjoyed this episode and was happy to have something focused on Hisae.

Mr. Ronin besides being a total scoundrel wasn't too bright. If you want money, there are safer ways to get it than kidnapping the only daughter of the head of law enforcement. That was bound to end badly for him.

Let's be realistic here: it's not just that, he must have allready known when he asked to marry her.

That's the only thing that felt off to me this episode, or even from Onihei in general. Heizo scolding Tatsuzou like that seemed very out of character to me, especially considering Tatsuzou left before Hisae even received the letter. He couldn't possibly have known that there would be a crisis, and as such there was no real reason he shouldn't have gone out, especially considering his wife and sister were living surrounded by 'police officers'. Plus he really did do his best to play his part in bringing Ojun back, even if it didn't amount to much.

So, Kondo kidnaps Ojun just so he could taunt Heizo about him not being the one to take Hisae's virginity? What kind of shit is that?! I can't even...

That would be very interesting actually. I wonder how the show will turn 180 for a big change when that happen.

Another great episode!
Even without Heizo himself, the Arson Theft control are a bunch of elite skilled personalities!
5/5.

I'm glad Hisae got her own episode because she's just been in the background the entire time.
A good woman who fell for the wrong guy and tarnished her reputation as a result...but Heizo married her regardless.
He's like anime Jesus, I swear XD

Heizo for the win, he doesn't care about his wife's past, whether it's past or present his wife is the best. Perhaps he doesn't care what you were in the past because of his past of becoming almost a thief and seeing so many people and things that he knows that people change and past doesn't matter.
Also Heizo you can't be any more perfect as you are already, marrying a woman who he doesn't know because no one else will marry her, talk about being an honorable person.

I did not expect to find anything on behalf of the Heizo's wife, I thought it would always be a marginal figure in the main story. Nice the underlying message once again. Onihei, once again it shows great wisdom, a man of the world.

So this is our "how I meet your mother" ep. :p Heizo's personality is so soft and warm. I need a man with this kind of personality in my life haha. Hisae is such a lovely woman, I like her even more now. Glad Ojun is completely fine.

Well, it was a bad plan for Kondo. Targeting Heizo doesn't bring any good. Maybe now Heizo's son will get serious about his training.

Heizo was being hyperobolic in his scolding. We already know Heizo can be a bit of a joker. He probably was still a little disappointed in his son though.

Kondo is litteraly worse than scum, nice to see Hisae having the spotlight

The team is pretty good, handling the case without the chief around
