Welp, they got into this pretty fast with the idol themes. Reminds me a little bit of Love Live with the girls working hard.

Hoshina stands out the most so far imo from the cast. Looks like she's the type who is determined to work hard. Hope they explore some of the character relationships in this show. Cute ED theme song~

This reminds me a lot of Aikatsu except with a much lower budget and politically themed. The performance has no CG and is pretty good for a late night anime. Sachie is very cute (I want to see her perform) and Hoshina's flower motif is great and brings out those Aikatsu vibes. I'll keep this, I want to see if it will delve more into the political theme or just end up being a decent idol anime.

Idols in the government? Sure! Why not? XD For as ludicrous a premise as this has the cuteness more than makes up for it. Natsuki just needs to give as much effort to governing as she showed this week and she'll be fine...probably! Also, Natsuki x Shizuka 4evar! XD

This was quite amusing, Idols in politics. I was wondering how they were gonna do it but this was actually really nice to watch. XD

I don't know why I laugh whenever that political guy intruded.

Love Shizuka and Natsuki already, Sachie is nice too. :P
Performance was great as well. Really liked the song. Shizuka and Natsuki are really adorable together.

What kind of name is Idol Dietwoman though? XD

Anyway, seems like a really fun and amusing show. Not sure how far this political theme will be used but I'm looking forward to more.
ED card was glorious.

Seeing those auras cancelled by the MC reminded me of Yume's aura killer from Aikatsu Stars! Anyway,

Weird and Interesting plot(Idols in the parliament/government), its fun to watch. MC is a little bit like Non from Keijo. This season's anime seem to have more girls genre than normal, which I'm ok with.

Cute episode, a little iffy on the whole idols doing politics theme, but I'll probably continue this.

Natsuki is so adorable, best girl of the season imo <3

This show obviously takes place in a "post-Trump" world where only idols (or other big name celebrities) can get elected into public office. Very clever parody of the whole Trump thing.

Pretty interesting start and what a weird combination, idols+politics LOL, all the girls are cute though.

Also woah that illustration at the end, Natsuki was more stacked than I thought.

Still, this is a weird idea that I swear was actually a joke once before. Guess it was just a matter of time before anime combined the idol industry with politics.

This Japan is screwed. So very fucking screwed. The only reason they're even surviving is because the Rougai party is in majority in the Diet. How on earth can a country survive if their Parliament members are elected based on their ability to reach the top of a god damn hill?! Wtf is up with this Heroine party? Wtf is Sachie even thinking? How old is Natsuki? She looks like a college student at best, but I think she's younger than that. And she's one hell of a klutz under pressure. Can't wait to see Japan crumble after the Heroine party takes the majority in the Diet.

Natsuki's voice acting was pretty off. Didn't feel good at all. The character designs are also kinda weird, especially Natsuki's ginormous mouth and the long faces in general.

The concept is retarded as fuck, but that's what makes this fun lol. Gonna stick around to see this country fall apart when the idols have to make laws and shit.

Now I am not a big fan of watching Idol anime even though I do like Love Live (but have not seen Love Live! Sunshine!!) and Wake Up Girls! was rather enjoyable, most Idol related anime has me turning away. As I haven't seen much I thought I will give this new series Idol Incidents a chance even though from the synopsis it was something that I didn't really understand on how it would play out.

The first episode from the first couple of minutes was rather intriguing which is a good thing and kept me watching and I can see that there will be a lot of back story to some characters, hopefully from what was shown in the first episode. I think the performance at the end was nicely handled and something new that I haven't seen before, the aura part. I can't say I liked the song but maybe the other songs and whatever else they do/preform I will enjoy. MAPPA did a good job on the animation, I liked what I was watching nothing made me say I didn't like any part of what I was watching. The characters were interesting to watch, just have to wait for more of them to be revealed.

Unsure if I will continue the series but it's a good start.

I though that i am already saw the most absurds setups for a story.... but i underestimated Japan once again.

Aside from that the music is likeable and seens more like a comedy than a idol anime...well still uncertan if i can consider mylself "watching" this anime on my list....

Too bad that they are doing the same thing like Sunrise with Love Live. Superugly shitty 3DCG in performances :( At least it's not THAT ugly like In Love Live (and this studio has probably MUCH lesser budget).

This was very very weird to say the least. The comedy is good and the characters are actually kind of endearing, though the plot is bit much to take in. So apparently idols are taking up political positions in order to save Japan, or something like that. Anime with a political motif tend to fare very well for me, so I hope it keeps that angle going. It'll surely straighten itself out by next week anyways, whatever it'll plan to do.

I saw this on the main page and thought I might as well check it out. I have seen 1 or 2 anime's about idols before.

I thought it was pretty good, interesting mix of idols and politics.

Natsuki is a character I can get behind, she had a fun and lively personality and never gives up.

I think her relationship with Shizuka will be one that slowly builds over time and make their performances even better as the show goes on.

Uh... *sweating* Is it weird that I enjoyed this?
... *sweating intensifies*

Anyhow this gave me some Aikatsu vibes, it's also similar in the way that I enjoy it simply as it is. A bonus for this anime is simply the fact that it has such a weird but interesting premise of Idol Politics xD

CG could have been better but it doesn't bother me much. I was intrigued by the similar concept of aura in this anime like Aikatsu (and more recently Aikatsu Stars!). I like what they did with Natsuki's aura helping to control Shizuka's aura.
I find Natsuki strangely endearing despite her general personality and klutz qualities. I love her energetic personality and her motto of just having to "tough it out."

Natsuki x Shizuka is already my yuri ship for the series, looks like we'll get many others as well but so far this ship is going strong!
oh lord, that end card was... hnnnnnng
Also seems that the person who cut Shizuka from the idol group in her memories is gonna end up joining. Wondering how they'll get her to join

Weird as hell premise, red girl's dubbing voice is annoying as fuck just like Maki's dubbing voice in early Love Live, and the black girl's voice is not what i expected.

But the animation for the performance looks great, their singing voice is complementing each other, and that contrast between their singing and dubbing voice is so nice.

What in the name of god did I just watch.

For reals though, it's pretty bad so far. So many conflicting tones that don't mix well together. Plus the twintail girl's voice acting feels off, and the songs aren't THAT memorable either.

Gonna see where this goes for a bit. If nothing interesting happens, I'll probably drop it.
And yes, I meant that.

But nobody said Natsuki will reign if elected. As I think, she would be a purely ceremonial figure. And that can raise A LOT of questions about the political system of IdolJihen Japan
Or politicians in that world are SO corrupt that even teenage idols can rule better

Natsuki may not become prime minister, but who's to say the other elected members of the Heroine party are any different? They bishojos don't have the majority yet, but if things go on like this, it's only a matter of time before they're in majority. Based on what I know about the Parliament and stuff, each member has a voice in stuff to an extent. But this show's probably not going to go too deep into anything. They're probably not going to show some serious country running I think. So things will go fine even if a doofus like Natsuki becomes prime minister.
