| It's about swimming pool like Free! so its a plus. The characters looks plain as in Yuri on Ice so its big minus for me (thought I would like to see full character design). |

| This won't be anything like YOI (sadly), so I don't understand what's up with all the hate on this bored. YOI is about mature, adult professionals already competing at the top level of their sport. It's goes far beyond queer subtext and brings it into actual text, the "cannon level" of their relationship aside, it's far more than the causal teasing. Dive is about a high school club trying to make it the big leagues. In that regard, it's much more likely to be like Free, Haikyuu, or KnB than YOI by a lot. The level of maturity of the characters, realism of the sport, focus on sport vs character/relationships, and queer bait level is currently unknown. It could even end up being more of a "collect club members" anime than it is a sports anime. Just an FYI people multiple hot guys + sports =/= all the same. |

The Pv looks pretty normal when it comes to diving. There doesn't seem to be any "queerbaiting" and since it's about a bunch of kids, it probably won't be like YOI. I'm kinda excited to watch this anime and I like how Sugita (Gintoki's voice) has a role in here because I love his voice lol. Anyway, we'll see how the three episodes go. |

The fanservice we'll have in "Dive" will be at maximum the exposure of beautiful male bodies. Nothing more. It will not come even close to having some mature, healthy relationship between two men, like YOI. In resume "Dive" will be more like "Free". |

| Considering the studio's previous exploits I can't be too excited for this. Their previous works had a reasonable level of animation quality, but the content itself wasn't all that good. I almost feel like the studio's animation abilities are being wasted with these types of series. I'm still willing to give this one the good ol' 3 episode test. |
