| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Shimazu still badass as ever. I thought the action this episode was pretty well done. Yoichi is definitely also someone to keep an eye on with his fast moments and ability. The violence got heated (literally) fast. Quite well animated to illustrate the dark fantasy style of the show imo. The action part with the minigun was pretty dope. |

| As expected Gilles was too much for Yoichi, it's good that the rest of the Drifters arrived in time to assist him. Toyohisa was brilliant like in every episode, that was some quick thinking from him, but what happened in the end? Did that flying dragon take Joan or Toyohisa?? |

| Great episode as always, The badassery comes through yet again. xD Action scenes were animated quite well, Was really entertaining. I really like how Toyohisa showed his gratitude to Olmine immediately. Looks like he's a complete man of honor. Quite cool. :3 His launch at Joan of Arc using the wall was awesome. Toyohisa's whole stare death in the face and take the head attitude is epic. Meanwhile Oda being badass just by issuing commands. XD Finally some Yoichi action, His fights were mostly limited to a few shots before but this time around he got some well needed spotlight. Pretty awesome to see how he was able to match the monstrous strength of Gilles. Can't help but grin when the Drifters make their epic smirk faces. XD Joan of Arc escaped, That flashback though. The incineration. :( Interesting, The leader of the Octobrist revealed. |

Poor Yoichi. =( Though I figured a long-range fighter like him would have difficulty in a close-up fight.  This reminds me too much of Alucard (Hellsing) and his many bullet holes.  |

| Man what a couple of decent fights! The interaction between Shimazu and Olmine was cool, I thought it was cute how she blushed when he thanked her. Their teamwork was pretty interesting too, crazy tactic building a wall Horizontally and propelling into Joan. I liked seeing Joan burning at the stake...as weird as that sounds, you could feel the pain she went through and I thought they did a great job portraying her death. I just wished she would have joined the Drifters but It looks like that Dragon saved her. Oh well. Looking forward to next week. |

| Great action this week with Toyohisa vs Joan and Yoichi vs that big guy.Joan escaped and the big guy after taking a lot of arrows and bullets finally died.The Octobrist leader revealed who he is.Let's see how thing will go from here. |

| Where did Caster from Fate Zero learn how to fight like this? I guess they summoned him as Lancer this time around? Joking aside, it's was a pretty good episode and all the fights were decent. Most imporantly it had no weird comdey sketchs this time around. |

| Epic clash of the titans this episode. We got to see more of the characters in both the Drifters and the Ends. I'm especially excited now that the whole Drifters gang is mostly together. |
| Man this show is exponentially better when there's no bad comedy scenes. Although this probably won't happen, I'll hope that the tone of the remainder of the show stays similar to this episode. These battles were awesome as hell, and I like how there were some historical nods thrown in there, like Joan's desire for water (makes sense for someone who was killed by fire) and Gilles de Rais being like Benkei, able to withstand all those arrows that were shot at him. Plus, Nobunaga was a badass as well, and all he did was order people around. I completely forgot that we didn't learn the identity of the Octobrist leader yet, but it makes sense that it's a super influential person like Abe no Seimei. |

| Damn! That was one epic and intense episode! Plus that Grandmaster and MC's team finally meet :) It is pretty cool to find out he is Abe no Seimei. |
| Finally the ends face the drifters, the scenes were very well and it was tense in the scene with the immortal guy. The OST is fucking amazing. |

| I thoroughly enjoyed this episode; a lot of action scenes, a lack of the horrible comedy sketches and the brilliant intervention by Olmine. It's a good thing she's not entirely bookish. I hope the series continues in this fashion. |

| Damn Toyohisa, Nobunaga and Yoichi show why they are Bad Ass Warlords from both Feudal Time and Civil War Japan! XD Toyohis was most Bad ass. Even if he won't kill Joan...won't kill woman..and think that they should be in Home? Ouch...Hate of the Females is going to rain now! Poor Joan...F**king Church...ungrateful Bastards. That kind of thing would turn anyone to End.... And Olminu show us why she is Bad ass with her own Title. She might have learn only 1 spell yet...but her Mastery on it? Oh boy poor enemies! Murderer Gil de Rais...mass Child Murderer of France..bites the dust...but stayed to loyal to Joan in the end...in both worlds. |

| So the head of the Octobrists is actually a Drifter himself? That's fucking awesome. Abe no Seimei, no less. For anyone confused why the name is "different" (Abe no Seimei vs Abe no Haruakira): 晴明 is the kanji used in Seimei. 晴 can also be read as "Haru" and 明 can also be "Akira". |

| Badass Toyohisa is badass. That battle with Joan was awesome. Lol Toyohisa pissed her off a bit by asking her gender. And then when he discovers she's not a dude, he tells her to go home and act like a woman lol. I liked how he threw that flamethrower woman into water to cool her down. And Yoichi was having a tough time killing Gilles de Rais. That guy was too resilient lol. He fired arrows into his eyes too. Lol suddenly machine gun comes and fires him to death. Gilles did not see that coming at all lol. Now Abe has made contact with Nobunaga and co. and has introduced himself as the leader of the month of October and he has some Drifters with himself too. Is he a Drifter himself too? This episode was great because it didn't have any shitty comedy ruining things. Every episode should be like this—badass, serious, and without any attempt at comedy. |
