What the!? Drinking the leak? Oh damn, this show just getting weirder. Even so, it's kinda sad when the flashback come. I guess it's already too late for a forgiveness. :(

Apart from the awkward bathroom pictures of the two males, the episode was pretty low in comedy.

4/5 The dangerous little girl will soon join the weirdos building.

Why is it that with such a serious job he had, where he was so successful, being given statuettes, having conferences and all that, the money didn't appear to seem enough for them to live in a house rather than an apartment? Or at least a better one? ... Is the anime saying his job was shtty? That it didn't pay much, then? Didn't appear like it.

HNNGG... The girl's voice, so appealing.

Dad's fame got in the way from in family. His wife divorced him because of it and his daughter isn't happy. So sad. The dialogue from Min-chan was funny, "Don't give me a facial." xD The bathroom scenes were quite awkward. New character showed up.

Comedy was okay for this episode (nothing too hilarious this time) although those suggestive positions in the bathroom had me grinning. Also Min-chan felt a bit out of character to me this ep.

this is an incredibly awkward episode you get all this sad and touching moments but there presented in the weirdest way possible the bathroom and with some very obvious sexual innuendos.

Looks like the girl in the ending will finally appear (possible Min-chan's roommate?).
Also just like what I expected, more of the space royal family would be the villians.
Maybe the secret to the transformation is related to being a better dad. Maybe we should change the name from "To Be Hero" to "To Be A Shining Dad As in Dreams" (Side Note: I just realized there is no A in the title).

Side Question: Why is Min-chan's Daddy listed as Uncle on MAL?

For such a crazy and zany comedy, there's actually a lot of sad serious depth underneath

The flashback was very nice, but I couldn't stop thinking about how ridiculous his job was. And it's awesome that he was able to confide in that alien. They should become good friends now.

He probably just spent all his money partying, drinking, going to fancy dinner dates, and all... That's really just how it is. It doesn't matter how rich and wealthy you are if you spend it unnecessarily.

Oh I didn't want to consider he being that bad. How could his woman maintain a relationship with someone like him? For over ten years, and with a daughter? ... Perhaps it wasn't always like this, and like, he gained recognition recently, and couldn't resist.

@takenMalUsername Because japanese uses the word for uncle to talk about a man. When the person is a relatively younger man, "big brother" is prefered. Same thing for women with "aunt/big sister". Also used to address directly to the person, a bit like our Mister/Miss words.
You surely stumbled on an anime/manga/drama scene where a little child call a 20-30year old man "ojisan" and the offended man was trying to correct the child by saying "onisan" (often translated by "no, I'm a young man" in the past). Same can happen to young women in their 20s being called "obasan" by children. XD

Ossan is the contracted familiar form of this word, it can be associated with a deprecative image in mind (a lazy 40ish year old man with a good amount of belly fat and the head already pretty naked)

Nowadays, the translation trend seems to be to translate those secondary meanings by the english equivalent of the first meaning. (not sure why it changed, because this wasn't the common choice in the 90s/00s)

All my excuses for the possible inexactitudes, I never took any lesson in japanese. The explanation was simply featured in one of my Gensômaden Saiyûki DVD bonuses (and lots of manga appendices).

Now I get it, I've seen young woman - obasan joke before.
I was confused because I thought it was the first meaning and he doesn't appear to have a name so MAL usually refers to their occupation/role (this case Min-chan's Daddy).

I thought his wife was dead? So they're divorced? He was getting so much pussy before and now he looks like someone that makes babies cry.

Masochistic prince in his regular clothes makes him look like a creep.

Yamada-san is so precious in his apron. He's a national treasure.

I'm surprised no one tried to strip Min-chan while she was in her towel.
