| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Shinobu's fangirling is pretty funny. So they adapted the Cat arc with it being reborn as a plant. I always thought this one of the stranger arcs in the manga and they made the episode pretty strange indeed. Stray Cat's reminds me of something from a sci-fi movie. Loved Kira's role in this arc as usual though especially with the way he tries to protect his "wife". Hayato better watch himself from now on D: Kid's actually pretty clever tbh. |

| They probably will mix the Enigma and Tower arc as they happen right after each other on the same day, but I still want to know where the date is from. I guess it gets mentioned in one of those chapters. |

| That was a really enjoyable episode. Not one of the best arcs but probably one of the best adapted imo. It was spot on. |
| The sheer stupidity of Kira this episode is astounding, putting the cat plant in the attic and not expecting the curious kid to go check what it is, kids are curious that's what they do. And then he spills his beans and reveals his entire existence outloud while in the attic, Araki didn't even have to do that, the kid would've logically figured it out without Kira denouncing himself to the world, and if he wanted to store the cat plant he should've done so outside the freaking house. There's nothing wrong with eating Mushrooms for the first time in front of that unsuspecting woman but in front of Jimmy Neutron, yikes. The cameras and audio recoders must be hidden pretty well for Kira not to notice them at all for his stay so far in his new home Those air bubbles must be pretty solid to have held Hayato like that. With all that said, good episode, Kira episodes are unarguably the most enjoyable.  Well okay Crunchyroll... I don't blame you, I don't really care either, maybe you should've at least translated the stand ability though. |

| That was better than I expected.The cat was pierced in the neck by the arrow and ended up dead by glass fragments that stab it.Its stand activated and it was reborn as a plant which can control air.I loved how the narrator described its thoughts and the confrontation with Kira was well adapted.Hayato was suspicious of Kira and checked the attic,where the Stray cat was sleeping.Kira had a hunch that the kid was gonna expose him and returned back to house and headed to the attic,but Hayato managed to hide and tricked Kira about the noise.After saying he had to kill him if he learned about this,Hayato freaked out and now he is completely sure that he isn't his true father.Next week,as the others said they might adapt both Enigma boy and the Transmission Tower. |

| Is it bad that I kind of want Kira to get a happy ending without him killing/get killed. I want him to be with his new loving family and live a quiet life. Also surprised we got an all Kira episode without anyone from the main cast (The 3 Jojos and friends). |
| What a bizarre episode. I loved it. Shinobu is adorable acting like a cat. Trying so hard to seduce Kira. That is one weird cat plant. Kira having a lot of trouble. LOL the narrator speaking for the cat. Hayato is real perceptive & knows that something is up with his "dad". Not the best idea talking out loudly to yourself. Poor Shinobu didn't get her goodbye kiss. |

| Stray Cat is a dangerous ability, but I do love how they animated its cat like movements. Always felt sorry for the way it died, but it's oddly adorable as a plant/hybrid too. The name of the next episode caught me off guard. I might be wrong, but I think that... In any case looking forward to seeing how they adapt the next 2 episodes. |

| Only in JoJo you would see the main antagonist nearly owned by a fucking plant. Truly bizarre. And I loved it. However, tbh, Stray Cat's ability is actually pretty dangerous, I mean, it can even inject air in the veins. That's no joke. I felt a bit of pity when the poor cat died, but when he appeared at a plant, I get surprised. He is still weirdly cute, though. Shinobu was so cute this episode. Especially in the beginning when she tried to befriend the cat. Man, she is sooooooooooooooooo thirsty for papa Kira. Kinda sad Kira is a sociopath serial killer (though, interestingly, in this episode he showed the need to protect her. I know he said he did that to avoid Jotaro to discover him, but maybe the series is implying he is changing for good? I kinda doubt he will quit out the hobby of killing, but it's still curious). Man, that Hayato kid has some serious spy abilities. I was tense during the part when he tries to escape from Stary Cat's air restraints to avoid Kira discover him. Then I laughed my ass when Kira says he is lucky Hayato didn't discovered him. Genius move, Kira, it seems do you don't know internal monologues. Hoping nothing bad happens to Hayato. He has had few screentime for the moment, but I'm liking him so far. |

I think they changed the colour scheme so the plant form's colours harmonise more with the BG's muted colour scheme. I think using the hot pink and yellow-ish green might be an eyesore if they kept it for the anime. I like how they kept the eyes yellow-ish, similar to when the cat was alive. |
| Having never read this arc and thus have no idea whats coming, this was a thrilling episode. Especially towards the end. I really thought Hayato was gonna get caught there and the fear he showed at the end felt very convincing. Looking forward to how stray cat will finally get put down LOL. |

| Kira also did the same thing when he spoke out loud about killing Shigechi if he saw The Hand, so this kind of thing is not entirely new. And Kira is talkative and not sneaky, he did say something about how he will always succeed in doing anything as long as he did it in a bold and straightforward way. So yes saying it out load is Kira mistakes but it's still in sync to how his character is portrayed and estabilished. |

| This was pretty damn bizarre even for Jojo. A cat got hit by the arrow and has a hole in its neck. Ok. The cat dies, is buried and is reincarnated or something as a plant? Wtf is this shit? And as a plant the neko can also move and shoot air bubbles? This was truly bizarre. Kira almost got his ass handed to a neko plant lol. And because he thought that this plant neko could come in handy or something, he keeps it in the attic. But Hayato is on to him and he has found out about the nekoing plant and also knows that the father in front of him isn't really his father BECAUSE KIRA JUST HAD TO THINK OUT LOUD! Wtf man? Can't you just keep this kind of a secret to your head and not spit it out? Now he's in one hell of a pinch. If this brat ends up thinking out loud just like Kira, the Jojos might find out and it'll be another pain in the butt for Kira. |

| I don't get why at this point in Jojo people would suddenly comment on characters giving expository dialogue aloud to themselves, lol. Did people forget what a goofy and campy series this is? Also, there are no such thing as "official colors" for Jojo characters. Araki himself was never consistent with them. Get over it. |

| This whole Stray Cat thing is bizarre AF. I barely say that something is bizarre when it comes to JJBA. I’m not even sure if it lives up to the subtitle of ‘Cat loves Kira’. But for sure the cat hated Shinobu. Kira’s tsundere reaction really made me think that he never gave himself a chance to start a serious relationship with someone. I guess it never occurred to him cuz he’s too busy holding himself back from the desire of killing women. Things might be different if he tried to seek any treatment. Good for Shinobu being so happy with her beloved husband. The last scene really made me feel for Hayato. Someone disguised as his dad and might kill him. How can a little kid take it, even for a smart one? |
