I'd love to see the idols sing in their mermaid outfits! Yohane is pretty cool, quickly becoming one of my favorite characters in this series with her fortune telling and occult style. Glad to see her getting a spotlight this episode after being in the background. I love how fallen angel outfit as well, very fitting for her character.  |

| Funny and yet embarrassing episode. I don't get why Dia is mad about that little stunt. Like what they do is her problem. Yeah. I know doing it for popularity isn't good but...throwing the laptop like that got me to dislike her. Anyway, Riko getting chased by Shiitake was the most hilarious. She freaking jumped so high to her balcony, and her mom saw it. In the end, Yoshiko finally joins. The girls accepted her. So its fine being eccentric. I wonder what's the fuss between Dia and Mari? |

Feel her the most-- Hanamaru continued to be an angel, love her bond with Yohane Dat commerical killed me esp. dat lower register "shinai?" had me rolling--Ruby was super-cute, too "Pretty bomber head" LMAOOO The president has a point, hope they work on what she said soon. I am really glad Yohane is part of the gang, one of my favs <3 |

| All the first years are great. Yoshiko has a super sexy voice, Ruby almost broke a few hearts in that video but Hanamaru is simply the cutest all the time. I love how she is illiterate to technology (her shining eyes was perfect) and how she still supports the other characters while still being cute herself with her "Zuras". I guess you can say that I am cheering for Hanamaru-chan |

| You know, I thought Sunshine was way too similar to the first Love Live, but tbh I'm starting to like this more. It feels a little more humorous then the first one and the characters feel a little more memorable to me. Then again I only watched season 1 so take that with a grain of salt. Oh and Ruby is best girl. |

| Thie episode was filled with overwhelming cuteness and charm, I loved every bit of it. Lol at Hanamaru being computer illiterate. Yohane wants to be normal but she wants to be special, A chuuni who wants to be normal but actually likes being a chuuni? xD Riko getting chased by the dog was both hilarious and super cute <3 Yohane's little fortune telling skit in class was funny as well. That Ruby introduction XD So cute <3 It's kinda nice to see that all the girls shared the same feeling of wanting to be shine and be different before. I loved the part where Chika said she finally realized what made Muse tick, They brought out everything people wanted to see simply by being true to themselves. It made me remember the episode where Honoka tries to find out the tagline for Muse and realizes what makes Muse, Muse. If Muse was "Making dreams come true together" , Wonder what Aqours will be. Also the OST for the scene was brilliant and I even got quite emotional :3 |

| The Zura just gets stronger with each ep. "It's the future!" just broke me. And I swear it's like they're trying to make Riko into a meme. Last time it was the hanging thing now its an actual jump. Love live fb pages are going to be flooding that this week. The smallest demon Wooby <3 <3 <3 I actually half-expected Mari to go "Its joke" at the very end. But that mail looks to be serious. |
| I dunno... she feels like usual chuunibyou trope without any invetion to it. Just WAY. TOO. AVERAGE... Just like whole show so far. Chika is not very bright and almost everyone else just feels way too naive. Ruby's voice is pretty annoying to listen. The repeating joke with the dog is not longer funny. Hanamaru's lack of computer knowledge seems really weird in this age of smart phones (not to mention she was using one when they were returning books to the library - like what the fuck?). They made the show way too incoherent and some plot elements were used without proper thought just because it looked cool I'm almost thinking whole script was done but completely different (and utterly worse or at least inexperienced) team. I'm not saying animation or music isn't nice but the one thing that should go hand-in-hand with it simply isn't there. Everything in this series just feels way too artificial and they still haven't ditched their overdependence on previous Love Live. I got hooked to the first Love Live because characters were likeable, pacing was great, emotions were real and the voicing was great. Sadly, I can't feel the same here and what's more it just feels like money-grab rehash of the same with no real attempt to make things at least a bit different. The writing, scenes flow and overall depth of the show is a lot worse here. |

| One more episode and I'm done with the show. Probably. I hate the direction of this anime. The whole thing with demons and chunni was supposed to be funny? It wasn't. I'm not saying that show with chunni character is automatically bad. It could be funny. But not here. They are trying toooooooooooooo much to make it original, everything is way to artificial, characrers are totally bland and not enjoyable. I don't like it. | Best singer episode, comments in chronological order -I didn't expect Yoshiko to want to do away with her chuuniness, actually. -Maru's never seen a computer before apparently -Reference to Hans Christian Andersen's version of The Little Mermaid presumably, rather than the Disney version -Hanamaru's smug face after finding Yoshiko in the cubby thing -Yoshiko's Yoshiko voice is more bearable than I remember, but she's still using her Yohane voice on the first day back -Oh never mind she switched to her normal voice when classmates brought up Yohane -Chika seems pretty enthusiastic about fortune telling -Huh, that was a fast recruitment -Nice front flip from Riko -Riko's mom looks a lot like Riko -The scene where Chika and Riko got off the bus was kind of confusing (in terms of when it occurred) unless they were just walking You and Yoshiko to the bus stop to see them off. Even then, Maru and Ruby went home in the same direction that Chika and Riko eventually went. -Mari makes her episode debut with some gratuitous English to cheer Aqours on -Wait how were they disrespecting μ's specifically with those little demon videos, though? I don't recall μ's doing videos like that before they were a full ensemble, but I guess Chika was referring to the club videos that Nozomi took after recruiting the first years. -Idk about Yoshiko doing away with the Yohane act because I like Yoshiko's fallen angel persona better as a singer -Whoa is this gonna be an actual episode where the subject doesn't join? The scene where Yoshiko splits from the other members of Aqours was actually quite beautifully done, and I would not have minded if the episode just left Yoshiko unrecruited because of that scene. -Never mind, turns out they're getting her to join again in the end. I actually don't remember the original LL series being as much of a tease like the recent 2 Sunshine episodes are. The original recruitments were resolved in much more straightforward ways. I actually like the Sunshine recruitments more, though. -Interesting choice of words for Chika to use when talking about on-stage personas for idols at the end there, once again foreshadowing an obvious parallel to the original LL series. All of the Aqours recruits so far have been delightfully goofy, and I liked the extra screentime for my two favorite Sunshines (Hanamaru and Yoshiko) this episode. |

| I laughed so hard watching this episode. When Yohane gets out the cloak and the candle in class I lost it. I'm usually not a fan of cringe humour (The second hand embarrassment I felt watching Watamote frustrated me more than it made me laugh) but Yohane is hilarious. And once again there's a nice positive message behind it all (Unlike Watamote which was basically just a dumb mean spirited gag comedy) which I definitely appreciate. Love Live Season 2 was pretty much one great episode after another and this looks to be the same. |

| Wow these girls are really endearing. Gotta agree with Chika here, they are so full of personalities that you cannot look away from them. The silly moments are so well executed, from chuunibyou moments, to self-reflection, to jumping between houses to avoid an inoffensive dog, LOL!!! Anyway Datenshi be celebrated. Never thought I'd have this much fun with such a chuunibyou. Little Demon Ruby was adorable, and I guess we'll see a bunch of datenshi moments. Also the "sea of knowledge" may come into play, or at least I hope it will. At last it is time we start venturing into our last 3 members, which just so happen to be sharing some history together. My guess? They tried EXACTLY what Chika attempted to do the three of them, i.e. a School Idol group, but something happened, which likely lies on the "director" which caused our blue-haired girl to lose faith and Dia to "detest" School Idols on the surface but carrying the regret deep within her. Prolly Mari (I think that was her name) had to leave for medical or other relevant reasons, but they didn't sit well with the other two. They will likely be a tough nut to crack but the gears will be moving to get those 3 to join. I want more adorable moments like in this episode pls. |

| So, Takanashi Rikka fanbase went behind Aqours and rigged the poll system? I wonder if Yohane's Seiyuu's chuuni act would work better if this is a serious series. She got great voice as a singer, and my worries over the quality of the voice acting isn't proven because the daily conversation parts were all done great so far, especially the ones involving the first years. But the chuuni act is not as funny as it should be. (and it's not script mistake.) The deep voice would suit the role if this is a show about magic war and people getting killed. But not as a comedy (imo.) Huh another "the school is shutting down" plot? Whoa this talentless writer... -_- |
| It's hard not to like them. Each girl has their own unique personality that makes them lovable. Yohana is pure life. Her chuun was so cute to see. Charismatic and full of winsomeness. The one eye winks remind me of Maki as she used to close one of hey eyes and sometimes play with her hair. Ruby kawaii as well. Although they were being a bit too careless with the laptop, one of them slides it real hard, the other uses it near water. I'd say this gen is looking probably better than the previous girls. But I feel like the final 3 girls will be hard to recruit. Dia mentioning how being consistent with rankings is the key to success.  |

| Hanamaru's excitement over mundane technology use was absolutely adorable. Reminds me of Mugi's excitement over ordinary things like fast food back when I watched K-On! And Riko jumping out the window while being chased by Shittake was such a shocker. During that scene, I was thinking to myself "Oh my god Riko, don't fall and die!" I imagine her mother being as relieved as I was when she was able to land on her balcony. Yohane's "fallen angel" outfits in this episode were really cool. I did not expect to find out that she actually wants to move on from being a Chunnibyou. I thought she was handled really well, and I was really touched in the end when she officially joined Aqours. Now I'm hoping we get to see some You X Yohane moments in the show later. |
