| Soun having illegitimate children arc? That sounds great. Soun mostly did nothing in the series other than being a pathetic student of Happosai alongside Genma so this is welcome, although he's probably not the real "father". It's probably Genma judging by the flashback. Akane really became useless. It's like she abandoned martial arts and started taking it slow after Ranma came. Wonder how or if she'll defeat Kurumi and Natsume. But first Ranma needs to find Akane since she ran away. This is the second time she did this after that one TV series episode early on. I like these types of drama episodes like the early series. Wish there were more of these. |

| The part when the two girls claimed Soun as their father is quite funny. Imagine he already has three daughters then add another two more. He remains pathetic from the beginning till now same as Genma. Both Ranma and Akane are hardly likable so far especially Akane for being quite stupid to cause unnecessary drama like this. Overall it's pretty decent given that these two eps are fillers! |

| Kinda odd that they went and made another anime original story for these OVAs, you’d think they would want to cover as much of the manga as they can, I’m sure it wasn’t an issue of the content not being available either, but at least this one seems like one of the best original stories of the series so far, I really like these new girls Natsume and Kurumi, and how they may or may not be illegitimate children of Soun’s, I love the idea there but you know it’s not actually him based on that flashback, this has Genma’s fingerprints all over it lol, not sure what he would gain from promising two random girls the Anything Goes Martial Arts school but I guess we’ll find out next time. And damn, ngl Natsume is smoking hot, the amount of exposed booba in her battle outfit is pretty awesome, she actually looks to me like if Ukyo and Kodachi fused lol, it’s a great design tho, and Kurumi’s cuteness contrasts nicely. But man it is a shame to see things end that way between Akane and Ranma, Akane was being pretty dumb there but Ranma was too harsh, what they really need is good teamwork but we’ll see if they end up managing that in the final episode of this set of OVAs. |
