Then why season 1 was created? The anime started before first arc ended. And there's enough material for 2 cour sequel. After all they announced it last year. It's just A1-Pictures was such a killjoy and breaking their announcement. So A1-Pictures was to blame here. |

Well, if Season 1 started before the first arc finished in the manga, then I'll take it back. I meant for an entire 2nd season, the material isn't all out there atm, but yeah. Doesn't mean they can't start production on it while the materials still in production itself. |

| Well i guess there will be a second season .. i guess this is just an introduction for the second season since you can see in the opening (SPOILER) the demon clan and the last sin .. i read the manga and im pretty sure they wont be able to put those things into 4 episodes .. This is probably just a side story or something which happens before the other stuffs happens in the manga after they defeated hendrikson... |

| I'd say from this episode that season 2 is definitely on the table. Feels like they are using this to set up the next season and buy some time before having to make that second season. Tell some more of the story, maybe add some things to the story, and create some excitement for season 2. Wouldn't be surprised if the last episode just threw out the announcement of season 2 and the date. |

Season 1 covered only the 1st arc, which IIRC was exactly 100 chapters long. The manga is still going through it's 2nd arc and is currently at chapter 189. You'd think there's enough, but since the 2nd season of the anime would need/want the entire 2nd arc, that's enough to start production, but not enough to cover the whole season. That's why I say there isn't enough material. |
