| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wtf did I just watch? It felt like some whacked version of Saki...melted with Code Geass/Death Note/Sengoku Basara, in the worst, most possible, terrible way. Was I suppose to laugh? The only SLIGHTLY interesting character was the babbling, crying, idiot. Okay, LoL, the ending made me laugh...at how ridiculous this anime was. 3/10, I'll give it 1 more episode then dropped. To the people who found this comedy funny...how? It's just the stupidest $hit someone thought of and threw it in there with a few gun shots. What's funny about that? What was with the Mickey Mouse ears? I've never given an anime anything lower than a 5 before this. If maybe this had some real comedy, was a bit longer, and didn't blow chunks, this could have possibly been a decent anime. Everything was just a bit too "Drastic" for me to laugh. |

Most of the characters, even foreign leaders, are simpl GAR and this show. You've already seen Bush Sr, but just wait for Putin or Benedict. |

I still quietly laugh in my head whenever I see police officers or other 'representatives' using that to transport themselves. It looks ridiculous. | It's comedy, nothing like Akagi. The author is good at making gag and clueless stuff. He had made a magical princess good at combat rather than magic. He's also working on another funny Gundam comics. And the director like to incorporate current affairs into anime, & write abnormal lyrics for anime songs. They are good partners lol |
| If anyone has a sense for politics in the modern era, and enjoys watching parodies on them will get a kick out of this anime when it actually releases. For those watching this, and dissing it, you probably have no sense or understanding on modern politics and don't understand the reasoning as to why it's so humorous. For those who didn't understand the character's and involved countries, see below: - George W. Bush [Guy on Segway] [USA] - Kim Jong-Il and Kim Jong-nam [PDRK] (The mouse ears were a reference to the Tokyo Disneyland incident in 2001) - Taro Aso and Junichiro Koizumi [Japan] So there you have it. Also the folks at the end are most likely to be one of the former/current presidents of China and Mao Zedong (maybe?). We'll see. |
