| Yui was just amazing in this episode. I thought I was going to hate it, as Yui was turned into the monster of the week, but man I didn't see that coming. Trying her best not to be taken over and breaking her own cage. Yui is a really great character. Makes me kinda glad they didn't make her a Cure. |
| As someone who draws, this episode in particular really touched me. It's happened to me more than once to try so hard to come up with good ideas for a contest or anything that I'd simply forget that I'm doing this because I just love drawing and art in general. Dreams can hurt sometimes, but one shouldn't forget the reason behind their dreams nor the happiness it brings them. Congrats to Yui for breaking the usual monster-of-the-week formula after being fodderized for the n-th time and fighting off the artificial despair Stop and Freeze tried to throw her into. Like you said @animedude1287, it's actually a good thing they didn't make her a Cure. It paradoxically makes her stand out a whole lot more. |

| Wow, that was the Yui episode I needed that I didn't even know I wanted. That wound up being a super standout episode. Didn't see it coming at all. Her fighting so hard to break free from the cage that the Zetsuborg couldn't even function was awesome. Yui's relationship with Cures and her progress with her own dreams has added a lot to the show. |

| When she started saying those 3 words (strength, kindness, beauty), I thought we would finally see Yui become a Precure. But it's much better the way she is now. Apart from being kind of like their scribe, as a "civilian" who is close to the Precures and knows about their secret, she constantly helps them not lose sight of their goal of protecting everyone's dreams. And the fact that she's getting her own arc, rather than be a side character who simply tags along, makes it even better. |
| So many amazing episodes one after the other, no words. Yui took the spotlight here in an episode I definitely could relate to. I like doing something but whenever it gets competitive I can see the pressure of wanting to be the best at it and once the worry of being outperformed and the negative thinking pops out it's over, Yui felt the same way here but thanks to the others she came to the realization that the most important thing is to just do what you love and enjoy it, great example for anyone to follow. I really liked how much she defended her dream from being stolen by Stop and Freeze, the only thing that could have made it even better is she breaking free from the cage by herself, but it was still very nicely executed. What a beautiful painting too! |
