| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- As happy as I am for Sara....I HATE MINCHIN AFTER ALL! Ugh, the way she switched gears like that was just...I seriously hope she gets called out on all of this before the end. I hate how Sara just accepts it and doesn't think twice about it. But then again, that's also a redeeming trait of her character, that she's so kind and optimistic. Noticed there was a preview for Pollyanna at the end of this one. I've been a bit interested in that one so I may have to get to it soon. |

| I really like Miss Amelia but the way she behaved towards Sara was very cruel, even if it wasn't intentional (Sara is 8 years old, let's not forget that). Sara suffered way too much at Miss Minchin's and she reached her limits which led her to finally put her own well-being before others', and then bam ! Amelia guilt-trips her. Poor girl, she has a good heart so of course at the end she came back anyway, she's too young to have to take such decisions, I don't think Amelia realised she wasn't talking to an adult but a child, a mature child but a child nonetheless. And as I already realised last episode (and even before to be honest), Ermengarde is pretty self-centered. I don't blame Lottie for having tried to get Sara to stay and then being happy to see her coming back because she's a toddler, but Ermengarde is big enough to understand Sara suffered here. Also, I found hilarious the way Amelia gasped when Miss Minchin took a knife. I totally understand that Sara got a little scared at this moment but come on Amelia, do you really think your sister would stab Sara just because she believes she's lying about something completely childish ? She's cruel, but she's not a psychopath. Oh, and Miss Minchin suddenly becoming nice because a rich person is helping Sara... Such a greedy hypocrite. At least Sara's finally treated better. But she still lives in the attic... It's interesting how seeing Sara once again in expensive clothes really shows how much she's actually changed. Now, even back as a rich girl (at least physically), her attitude is sightly different, she is much less lively than she used to be and you can see she's been through a lot, she isn't this completely light-hearted girl anymore. Poor thing. |
