 Game developer Madosoft announced at its booth at Comiket (Comic Market) 88, which opened today at Tokyo Big Sight, that its upcoming adult visual novel, Wagamama High Spec, will receive a TV anime adaptation. TG Smart, the website that belongs to Kadokawa's Tech Gian magazine, will publish an interview with the game's producers on August 19. A release date for the visual novel has not been announced. Synopsis Even though he's just a student, the protagonist in Wagamama High Spec also happens to be the author of a manga published in a weekly magazine. Since it's mainly an ecchi and romcom type of story, he is actually hiding this fact from most people around him. The only people that know are his younger sister and his best friend. But then on one day, the student council president happens to find out his secret, just as she was actually looking for a male member to include in the student council. Afraid of having his secret exposed, our protagonist joins the student council under the promise of his secret staying safe. | Never heard the VN and dont know anything about the VN company...Upon a quick VNDB search only thing i learned was the fact that they love big boobed characters :/ Being an advertisement for a VN with different routes kills the chance of it having a conclusive/progressive romance so not sure how to feel about it... Well,we will see i guess... |

| The maker of this VN is Madosoft who's previous titles were Namaiki Delation and Yakimochi Stream. As someone that played both, I can safely say that this VN will be fucking terrible. Madosoft has got to be one of the worst VN companies ever. Honestly I don't know why the fuck something like this will get an adaptation but kamige like Baldr Sky and Hatsuyuki Sakura don't. |

| Putting my best bucks on this being handed to Studio Feel. They managed to make Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai non-trash (although not good either) despite poor VN source material, this is right up their alley. |

I guesstimate like 95% of VNs that were adapted to anime so far had adult content. Little Busters, Air, Clannad, Grisaia, KoiChoco, Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai, White Album just off the top of my head all had adult versions. |

| This looks hopeless because this kind of VN tend to play things safe with focus mostly on stupid highschool antics and cute heroines being cute with drama just enough to pad out the plot, which would be boring. On the other hand, i actually enjoy trashy VN so long as it can maintain the energy level high by being over the top ridiculous and nonsensical. And that's what makes Grisaia so enjoyable, albeit in all the wrong ways. |
