| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well this was interesting. We get the aftermath of the fight (lewd Chris!) and some regrouping with the others. And lol. what's with the cooking montage? That part felt really different tone lol. The food looked delicious though and nice to see the girls united. |

| Just like I expected. 13 episodes is too long for a single arc, but the first two episodes needed to have fights in them to present the new characters. So episode 3 is where all the bullshit reasons to postpone the ending are introduced. What I didn't expect was for Hibiki to piss me off so much. Characters who don't want to fight in a fighting anime are the worst kind of cancer. I wish she had remained in her devil trigger form permanently. She was a million times better that way, and there are more than enough characters already to carry the slice of life segments without her. |

Well, I too just realized how minimal the versus human combat they put Hibiki through in Season 1 and 2, Hibiki vs Chris in S1'E7 was interrupted, she was pounding on the Nephilim in S2, and the vs Miku battle was based on "saving Miku". Its almost as if they are deliberately saving this mental issue to this stage. |

| Shirabe and Kirika's symphogear are too awesome. Maybe we'll get the Doctor from season 2 to come back to make linkers at this rate. Unless Dainslef becomes the Deus Ex Machina that solves every symphogear problem. Miku saying "It doesn't matter whether there is something down there or not." Yeah, they were talking about fractions but Miku WOULD say that, wouldn't she? That second part was weird as hell and the song came out of nowhere but it wasn't bad. How do you get an idiot to fight? You put her friends in danger. And Gungnir abandons Hibiki. Not even the damn relic agrees with Hibiki's helping hand bullshit. Get rekt. |

Afterall look at its past users, Kanade and Maria (Though I'm not sure Kanade was the user of this gear). They both were fighters who weren't afraid to kick ass. But knowing Symphogear, Hibiki will grow up and learn the ways of Nanoha's befriending methods. ;) If you guys didn't know, Nanoha is actually a pacifist like Hibiki who learned pretty quick that force can lead to peace just as well as talking things out. |

I would rarely compare Hibiki to Nanoha. Nanoha had a good life, loving family and all, she is very mentally strong. Its not like that with Hibiki, Biki gone through loads of crap in life, crap experiences that make her believe communicating with each other would solve issues. You would never see Nanoha lose consciousness and act on pure animal instinct, with Biki, although taking the relic in her into account, but it does show her mental strength not as great. In short, Nanoha is a "Hero(ine) to begin with" , while Hibiki is "Hero(ine) in training". I love both of them, ofc. |

| Man, when Maria of all people is lecturing you....you have screwed up. Maria! Hibiki needs to get her head together before the people around her start dying. Her denial of the combat nature of symphogear seems to have literally prevented her from activating it. Hibiki needs to accept that these things are weapons and sometimes you have to actually fight people in order to stop them. I'm curious what will happen. The show hasn't gone that dark since season 1, but maybe that silly cooking song was a bit of brightness before the enemy actually murders or seriously injures one of her friends. It's not like Garie cares that much about human life. Good episode though. Kirika and Shirabe saving the day despite the pain it brought them and have a chance to regroup. |

That sounded funny and it was random. xD Their only remaining fighter left is Hibiki but now she couldn't sing the chant and Gungnir won't respond to her. :o Also confirmed Micha was the enemy's strongest Homonculus so I can't wait to see her fight. | If i need compare Hibiki with someone of Nanohaverse will be with Subaru not Nanoha, since the episode 1 of this season with Hibike saving people from the building in fire i have and the feeling she is more like Subaru more than Nanoha. About Hibike i agree, since S1 their are holding the topic about Hibike trauma being the survivor of the concert, and in S2 they give us a small flashback how people hate Hibike and her family, the flashback about the house with graffitis, her mom crying and grandma comforting both. Now in S3 i guess we will get a big development in Hibike as character. Edit: corrected grammar |

| Oh God. This anime gets worse each episode... Epic Hibike, who did sing for 3 seasons - ALL of the sudden!!! - can't remember the lyrics!! Also forgot how to sing!! OMG draaaaamaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I actually start to despise she as a character. This scene made me so angry. Than give your power to something who WANTS to fight, who WANTS to protect, instead you crying all the time "I don't want to fight, I want to protect! bullshit. You are not suddenly a drama queen that got pulled into all of this. I pretty much remember you were not so silly fighting against the enemy at first. Whats next - will she sleep with noise, be a mother for all those who she has killed? You could make a doujin out of that - Noise gangbang. Must sell pretty much - alot. The season anime is in my opinion so far the worst: The new enemy - bad ass. But the leader is just one of those "I want to destroy earth because you killed my papa!" thing > silly. Hibike went to stupid drama queen because what happened 3 season before - not I have a problem but in S2 she was acting damn fine for someone who turned in a cry baby. (that knife scene - someone should have took the knife and killed her... 10/10 move) Either she ends with quitting fighting for good or I end this anime for good. BTW: Ep 3 was ok until Hibike appeared again and started with her crying. Praying for the death flag |
| I know were they going with this, it's even in the title, but still XD I can smell the training montage from here ;) Maria about to get a new relic, but no full relic yet :( Is alchemy only worth several fragmented relics? :( The cooking song was a surprise :O Need to work those seiyuu's XD The hero we need but are to embarrassed to be saved by.  |

| I feel like they pushed Hibiki's desire to not fight people to an extreme that didn't exist in the other seasons. Sure she fought Noise more often then, but she still went up against people several times. Chris, Fine, Maria. She's never refused to done her Symphogear like this JUST because they were people. It's going to an extreme that's really just plain annoying. |

| Lol, please. Don't look for logic in this anime, people. You should know by now, after like two seasons. The food song just wasted a good couple of minutes away from all this plot. Quite disappointing that they skipped Shirabe's transformation sequence; guess that will be in the next episode. @ Nana's art, she is like the pride and joy of this anime, without her this anime wouldn't gotten as far. Nana fans are extreme devotees. |

Remember, the Relic activation song are instinctive and come from the relic pieces themselves, not the Gear user (hence all the Superb Songs having the same activation line). TL;DR: Wait for Zoid to do his version, then see. Commie's record for this show isn't exactly stellar (Heavenrend, Wild Ride, have my way with her, etc...) |

| Amazing episode!! Man Arcanoise is something else. Finally saw Chris's new transformation scene. And it's revealed that Ryouko and Dr Ver used to work together. I don't Ver even mentioned Ryouko's name once. That cooking song though!! So Hibiki's forgot's her Song!?! I really hope Maria comes back with her new Symphogear, even though i still prefer her Black Gugnir one :) Can't wait for the next episode!! |
| I'd suggest everyone to watch the H&D version, or rewatch the episode with their sub after you're done with Commies. For that particular scene, they translated it as "the chant.. won't come out from within me", which makes a great deal more sense than "I can't remember the chant" from Commie |

| Whenever things stop moving and they get to talking about all their complicated mumbo jumbo, it just gets convoluted and I turn my brain off. This anime so far has more than delivered when giving us non-stop eye popping action, but during the downtime when they get to talking about plots to end the world or save the world it just drags to a halt. Thankfully it's not that serious of an issue, it's just been something that's been nagging me |

| That uh... beef stroganoff song kinda came out of left field. It made me laugh though - who knew this would turn into a cooking musical for a few moments. Well, this isn't nearly as perverted as the food anime *I* know. Also, I'm sold on Kirika and Shirabe - I love both of them now. I wasn't so sure at first but they're great characters; very lovable. Also they're both pretty adorable - just about as cute as Chris-chan and her Tsundere-ness. Their gears are pretty cool too - that scythe spin move Kirika does is real cool. I didn't like Shirabe's gear at first, last season, but it's actually pretty cool too, unique abilities - strange though they may be... it's definitely got utility! |
