| do you know or have somewhere to resize it? remember Images placed in forum signatures must not: exceed a total area of 600px width by 150px height. And exceed a total file size of 300 kB. |

| No I don't know of any, I've tried just editing the gif on some apps on my phone but they end up resizing it all weird and making it blurry |

| actually I just figured my question out, nevermind lol s0ck okay this might take a bit of explaining, so cope with me alright, first off, find a picture, second go to MAL edit profile, go to forum settings, now go back to the image, if the image is the right size (600 pixels widith, 150 pixels height is the largest it can be) then you simply put [img*]insert image url here[*/img] (remove the *)on your signature, if it don't work, or you want the picture to appear bigger, go to an image sharing site. a good one that I use would be http://www.online-image-editor.com/ (but if you use this one you will also have to use another image sharing site (http://tinypic.com/ I'll tell you why further down this explanation)) you can save the image, or just put the url on that site to the bottom left, after you do so, you should be given the option to resize after you upload the image, now when you resize it, keep in mind you can't make it bigger, but you can make it smaller, after you do so, save the image, and go to tinypic.com after you go there, upload the image there, don't edit it at all during the upload, just leave it to default (you should have already edited enough on the other site) once you upload it, copy the url in the second box down on the left and then paste it on signature in your edit profile, forum settings the reason for using the other image site, is because the first image site I gave you, doesn't have a forum url, it's missing the second box down, like what is shown in the second screenshot I took, so it won't work, and the reason I don't use the second image site for the resizing is because, you can resize it and all, but it's not as custom as the first one, the second one only gives you 5 or 6 resizing options, so to be COMPLETELY custom, I use the first site for the resizing |

| just leave it be until you upload it, then you will be given the option to full scale resize, ((when you resize I would just set the height as 150, and the width should automatically resize, and that would be the biggest you can get it, if you wanna get it bigger (width wise)), I can no longer be of assistance. |

| I am not so sure about that, if you do, it will probably either look streched out, or won't work at all, it all depends on the size, and the calulated percentages, (too much math), so I would just set the height to 150 and have the width automatically resize itself, as you can tell my signature doesn't take up the whole bottom signature layer of a post, it only takes up the left side, thats because if I resize it to fit the whole signature layer that is provided, when editing the forum settings, it will either not work, or look stretched out. |

| Ok Im gonna put a picture instead of a gif for now, but every time I put the height to 150 the width changes then when I put the width to 600 then height changes, so I'll just make the height 150 and keep the width whatever it turns out to be right? |

| right, correct, and it should still work for the gif too, the BBcode for image is the same BBcode used for gifs. |
now there's this problem I copy and paste the BBcode into the box, save it but then the code doesn't stay and the url that's already in there just stays |
