I love this series to death and I have been waiting for this adaptation.

From the Visuals shown, I am not impressed with the character designs compared to the Promos and the Manga.

Frankly I would rather watch something produced by A-1 than anything by SHAFT.

lol

knowing how that they animated negima and SzS this would have been perfect for them

A1 on the other hand is basically equivalent to a fast food joint

cant wait to see ur reaction to when it turns out to be shitty and derpy like Cinderella girl. Luckily the character design is good, unlike Vivid or Saenai Heroine. At the end of the day ima see how it turns out but so far im skeptical cuz its A1.

See the thing is I wouldn't mind SHAFT animating series if they just followed the intended flow and emotion of the original material instead of trying to make every series they produce their own thing.

If anything they are the ones that make series "shitty and derpy". Dance in the Vampire Bund and Nisekoi are really good examples of SHAFT taking their oh so godlike deep and thought provoking direction and animation and blending it into the original material to the point of changing the experience of the viewer to something different from the original intended experience that the source material gave.

I see this happen because people start watching series produced by SHAFT just because it is SHAFT, not because of what the series is. Which I will never understand the appeal of crazy camera angles and abstract dialogs.

Having anything produced by SHAFT is basically just taking a huge crap on the source material.

"Having anything produced by shaft is basically just taking a huge crap on the source material"
-u havent watched bakemonogatari they follow it pretty well
-nisekoi is similar to the manga counter part
-dance in the vampire bund author actually asked shaft to go orginal
-also anime is an ADAPTION not a carbon copy

"I see this happen because people start watching series produced by SHAFT just because it is SHAFT, not because of what the series is. Which I will never understand the appeal of crazy camera angles and abstract dialogs."
-if u ever seen their previous work or even their other lesser known work u would know that thats not what they are all about, if u just compare their popular works ur obviously gonna find similarities just like u can find similarities in any studios work besides the REALLY big studios like madhouse. if u look at kyo u can say that they make everything into their design, thats the point of an animation studio.

Being A1 doesnt just make me skeptical but ive seen around the net that everyone thinks this way. The worst thing I can say about them is that they had the tendency to make more than three series each season with animation quality more or less varying between series and the budget just went off halfways for each, merely rivaling these of Toei Animation which suffer the exact same problem.

Im not saying this SHOULD go to shaft or saying they are the only ones that can do it. But i would have preferred anyone but A1 at this point. So judging by the source material and how it is similar to negima and szs it would have been a sure fit for shaft.

A bit torn but the story sounds fun and not all a-1 pictures are that bad (from comments) will give this a go, it involves a neet!
