| The Ovas was nice, although the development is a little rough, the start is hard, although the end, with the brother fight boxing and Eiji next to the ring were intense. The Ova was interesting to aperture to a new anime series, but this ended badly..... :/ |

It was the worst time to end the anime. I bet everyone who was watching wanted to see him at least have an official fight. It seemed to me this OVA wasn't made as something in itself, but only to stimulate sales of manga. I know most of OVA's are for this purpose, but this one in particular became very obvious. edit: I saw now that manga had already ended by time of OVA's release. Then it got worse. It looks like a canceled project. |

| I feel like this works very well as a short slice regardless. The production is decent and reminds me of other experimental works like Bobby's in Deep - lots of rough lines and interesting transitions. The manga panels at the end are just enough not to leave you hanging, but this would have been an amazing boxing anime if it had a longer run. |

Well unless you have somehow gotten ahold of the physical release of this. ;) Anyhow, my feelings on this one is a bit mixed. I felt like the story kinda just meandered on and didn' t really go much of any place. I also felt that not a single character in this were likeable, all you had was a punk that liked to beat people up a goofy old fashioned type of kid that was more cringy than likeable, and a bunch of selfish people that were into things for their own selfish reasons. The art work was ok, and the animation wasn't noticeably bad. But all and all I felt like this was super half baked, even if it was originally meant to be a TV pilot, which I suspect it was. |

| The only known rip is a poor VHS one. What a shame. The quality is very low, everything is too high brightness setting. Well, the OVA doesn't seem so bad. There was an epic Kancho. That guy could teach Kakashi new tricks... Kancho Corkscrew!! |

| This was quite entertaining. Was a bit rough since it looks like they tried to put in a lot of manga content into this short OVA. Nonetheless it was funny and weird, in a good way. |
| What the hell did I just watch? Is this even finished? Not even talking about the story so much of the shots are just plain white. |
