| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, that was quite something. Not sure if I like the new OP song though.... Looks like the episode takes place right after the first season. The battle was decent especially the one involving Touka. I thought the fight between him and Ayato felt a bit rushed. Overall action was good though imo. Kaneki really has changed now..and it looks like he's going to Aogiri after all. And shit, I want that theme song at the end. The song played at the end was pretty. ED song was alright I guess. Found some of the art well done: |

| Been waiting for this for a while, I actually like the opening, It may not be Unravel but I think it's good. Edit: Man I had a blast watching this episode, badass Kaneki is badass. |

| im a bit disappointed that the anime isnt going to follow the manga but atleast they announced that before the anime started airing and im fine with that well the first ep was really good i enjoyed it the OP is okay but unravel was way better and the ending was decent i like it, i think kaneki joined aogiri to destroy it from the inside but we'll see how it'll go in future episodes and btw thank god there was no censor i hope it stays like this for the upcoming episodes too |

| After watching it...I'm pretty interested and hyped tbh :O Although they left out some of Kaneki's characterization by leaving out how much of a sadist he can be with the 103 bone thing they still depicted his personality pretty well. Well I have absolutely no idea why he'd choose going to Aogiri instead of what he did in the manga O_o? The last scene when he just left Touka and went over to Eto with the insert music was really awesome! EtoKen ship confirmed? XD I'd love to see their interactions tbh :3 Ken owning Ayato was BA! Loved the way he was using one Kagune as a tail to support his acrobats. And Dat STFU when I'm talking was BA ^^ "Owl" vs Shinohara and Iwa was pretty nice. No censors too :O And Noro vs the 3 BAs was nice too ^^ Animation was pretty amazing in some parts. Esp the scenes under the snow with Ken's white hair looked really beautiful. ED was really nice too :) |

| I wish they would use that English song they were playing near the end as the OP instead of the one they choose... I kinda like the idea of Kaneki going with Aogiri though... I think the manga kind of lost focus after the chair/transformation stuff so maybe this new direction will be more interesting. |

| So it really is an altarnativ root hah. Anyway I don't know what to espect...The music seems to be better than the last season tought I don't like the op song but the ed was alright with some nice illustrations from the mangaka himself ( it seems so). The censurating was less than the first season but that can change. But I am disappointed the whole episodes didn't have the awesome atmosphere the arc had in the manga especially there wasn't a certain scene included. On another point I cant belive how bad Piarot coriegraphs the fighting, what is a shame because I realle loved how they used material from the Naruto manga and made it more awesome... |

| I like the OP animation though, something about the coloring makes it so beautiful. I do prefer the ED song a bit more though. Not expecting much out of this. Still an interesting route the anime is taking. |
| The spoilers were correct! ;_; Kanei left his waifu and joined the darkside! I think he's investigating Aogiri rather than joining them entirely. The opening wasn't as good as unravel, but the ending was amazing being in English. |

| just realized that the anime only watchers will never see the awesome "ill half kill you / i break 103 of your bones" scene? the anime once again pales in comparison to the manga and kanekis decision makes no fucking sense. 2/5 but im sure it will be another 8.0+ on MAl cause as usual ppl hype this shit up into oblivion. |

| OP wasn't the worst possible, but still ain't going to listen it again. ED was okay. I was disappointed that Kaneki's and Ayato's fight was so short, since I was looking forward to it being like in the manga. Liked the plot twist at the end, and hope that it turns out to be good. I think Hanae Natsuki did great with Kaneki's voice, the difference in character was voiced so well. I've really looked forward to this season like many others, hope it meet the exceptions ;) |
