THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
A predictable but sweet ending. And, really, no one else was willing to sacrifice their hair to help a person? WTH people, it's hair, it'll grow back. Does hair have some sort of magical property that people are unwilling to sacrifice?

Yeah, I didn't get the whole hair thing. And after she sacrificed herself to save everyone, the jerk witches were basically saying it was her own fault for not thinking things through. Living in an otherwise nifty magical realm wouldn't be worth it if everyone there were assholes to the degree of these witches.

I think it has more to do with the witches being actually the baddies in the show. Arusu being so easygoing and cooperative serves as a balance to that.

I wonder how many people in the world are witches. Who are the "civilians"? Never seen a man in the whole show, by the way (is that why witches get married in the human realm? but then not returning is strange). We'll see I guess.

Qoo turned out to be useful when it counts after all.

Given that Arusu's father could've been involved with both Atelia and Yoko (Arusu's mother), that would be an interesting reveal; though, his circumstances and origins are still very shrouded in ambiguity. Arusu was transported to the Witch Realm eventually anyway, potentially signifying at a genetic link with the otherworld.
