So, who else (tried to) read this manga? I think it was really weird. I mean, they all like the same girl and even when she confesses that she is cheating with two other guys, they still accept it. And not to forget about the last few pages... This series is more like angst. |

Yeah... Very angst. But I have to say I really enjoyed it, I read until the end and even now I think it was very interesting, not to mention Yukine's art, that is really amazing and gives the story something special. The story was told in a very different and curious way, totally psychological, with a peculiar air. And I guess they accepted the fact that she was cheating them because they really liked her AND maybe because she was sick. Put these two things together and maybe they didn't see any point in getting angry with her. Maybe the frustration about the fact that they couldn't do anything was bigger. Well, who knows... It was a curious manga, for sure. But really awesome for me. Anyway, if I said something weird or nonsense, I'm sorry, it has been some while since I read it. ^^" |

This has got to be one of the most twisted stories I've read. That girl was plain out crazy. I have no sympathy whatsoever for her dying. Despite all this, I thought the sex between the guys was pretty hot (of course, excluding Yuka). |

Yeah..after having read it the first time I didn't really liked it too. Now, after the third time I read it I think it was interesting and definitely worth my time. I agree that the plot is not ordinary, some may call it twisted..but truthfully..when talking about twistedness, isn't almost every yaoi kind of twisted?...is what many ppl would ask but..well, that's not really my opinion because i don't usually think about whether it's twisted or not when reading yaoi. If I were to compare, I've read a few of those where I actually was kinda surprised by..*ehm* mangaka's fantasy... but this one didn't strike me as extra twisted or anything. Hmm...but i guess it could be in me (im already twisted from reading the twisted mangas, my opinion is not accurate ~haha~ ^^ ...so don't mind me~ |

I began reading this manga after reading this essay so I was able to catch on to everything in one go. I found it very interesting. They were in a very complex situation and they were all dealing with their problems in their own way. Yuka made the boys happy. She was their essential happiness. It may have been that all three of them were never in love with Yuka while she was alive ("she felt good to hang out with"; basically, she was an outlet to stress) but were dealing with her (and guilt) in mind that they persuaded themselves into believing they were. Suguru was the most aware of that possibility which is why he acted the way he did, and well, you know how it plays out by now. In a way, Orie kind of became Yuka for a bit as a safety mechanism with her gone. This is very much a psychological coming of age piece, and I'm glad I read it. |

base on my understanding ^^ *man idea heheehe* (the 3 of them want to overcome Yuka's death by comforting each other.all about comforting and accepting) When Orie matured when talking to Tatsumi he get a strength for living and not afraid to die in hands of his senpai. The cool Tatsumi is actually sad about Yuka's death and Orie give him comforting by accepting him and having s3x. both of them overcome Yuka's death but not Suguru he still blaming it all to Orie but Orie give him comfort and will to live and the 3 had s3x until Yuka die in their hearts but to me it look like the two(Suguru and Tatsumi) of them have feelings for Orie from the start but I think Tatsumi is the one has big feelings for Orie than Suguru. |

It was unusual, but I kinda liked it ;) Imagine if you were that girl - about to die by an uncurable illness.... People like that often resent the world and the people around them... - why me? Since they don't have much time left they want to experience as much as possible.... I think that girl just wanted to have that "heart throbbing love affair" or something.... It's selfish and irresponsible, but well... she's dead anyways..... They boys searched for an outlet - a way to cope with the situation and to get over her... I think it was definitly interesting ;) |

That was quite beautiful, not perfect but still mesmerizing... It's deep but at some point sometimes it feels like it's trying too much to be deep, but other time the psychological and angst are just simply delicious, so yeah... it's ok Well im a bi-guy so i think the sex scenes with or without Yuka are both equally hot, and i'm attracted to both Yuka and that dark haired senpai so the sex scene between the MC and those two was... extremely stimulating, haha, but i understand why some girls wouldn't like this manga. |

millo said: I felt the same about that scene too, haha (this is coming from a female viewer). Actually, I'd like to find more (manga) stuff like that. But I really don't understand some of the hateful comments regarding Yuka. Although, what else would one expect from Fujoshis? They do need a good kick in the rear, now and then....so the sex scene between the MC and those two was... extremely stimulating, haha, but i understand why some girls wouldn't like this manga. |

I wish this kind of story wasn't seen as 'weird' or 'unusual'. This is a very well presented form of a non-monogamy relationship; a very real, very loving, very valid type of relationship. Granted, not having the explicit consent of all parties involved made it a little unethical, but what it shows beautifully is one person's capacity to give love unconditionally and the amazing support you can share with loved ones. If thats still an issue, try thinking of this story with out the romantic and sexual side of things. It shows three people partaking in an activity that they all did with someone that they cared for as a means to honour the life she shared with them all. |
