| Boy oh boy, that's the stuff! The previous two felt almost like episodes that could have been featured in the anime but didn't quite make the cut. This one though, damn, this one was an OVA. The new OP and ED give it a new vibe and the story was surprisingly hilarious. So good! |
| Darling turned himself into a goldfish?! What. the. f u c k. Well I kind of understand why this story was cut from the TV series, if it was originally part of the manga that is. It's way too fucking bonkers. Despite everything that happens in KOR anime this OVA broke the suspension of disbelief. It's the kind of crazy bullshit you'd expect to find in something like Urusei Yatsura, not in Kimagure Orange Road! At least I say that with my experience as of episode 17... Maybe the show becomes crazy afterwards? I'd hope not. It's hilarious that Kyosuke's father was completely unconcerned about completely losing his son. And also Kyosuke kissing his sister gave me Nisemonogatari vibes. So there was an incest joke after all. But I'll allow it cos it made me chuckle. The whole episode I had dumb grin on my face with how ridiculous everything is. But we also got some commentary on how Kyosuke's like from 2 of the main girls and JingoSuke saving Madoka's life was worth it. Now it's time to go back to watching the main series I guess. |
| This is quite entertaining as an OVA and I glad that I watched it in the end. They should make this kind of crazy story more in the original lol. |

| It's not heavy and violent like the Hawaian OVA. It's more in tune with the fun nature of the tv series. Hikaru always is annoying. She wants what Madoka has. Kyōsuke got to feel Madoka's chest, but too bad he wasn't able to kiss Madoka but Kurumi instead. |
