| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well that was refreshing to watch I suppose. Damn, the artwork just feels so natural when it comes to the backgrounds. As for the characters, it was cute seeing them again especially with the bonds they share and friendship.  I noticed this is about 15 minutes which is 3x more than before. Oh and 2 cour too, nice. |

| The new OP is nice but that song from the previous short anime was so addictive, I am gonna miss it. I missed Kokona's voice, so sweet. So they put no spices in that curry? I am not sure if I would eat that. Hinata looked even cuter with her hair down. Guess you can't play shiritori with mountains (unless you remove the san at end) I love Kaede's singing voice, it was like lullaby. I really like Hinata's house. Those epic poses in the ED song! I like the song as well. Pretty good start. 7.5/10 |

| Aoi's dream was harshly hilarious with Hinata leaving her behind in a blizzard storm once she asked her to, thinking she won't make it together. XD Camping part at Hinata's yard was nice. I love their friendly gathering. (^^) Did they seriously put coffee and chocolate in that curry? O.o Short bath scenes but not bad! Kaede's knockers really do stand out. :p Hinata's Shiritori fail was pretty funny! Too bad, can't really use "-san" as a suffix at the end of mountain's names. Hehehe! A little love talk before sleeping. Eh, aren't they a bit too young for that? O.o Loved Kaede's and pals singing that song together. (^^) Aoi and Hinata watching the sunrise and reminiscing about their past mountain experiences was nice! Good start. Op and Ed songs are nice as well. Missed this show. Glad it's back with a longer duration in each episode! |

| That was a good first episode. Really glad to see that this season is going to be two-cour and the episodes are a lot longer. Hinata was so heartless in Aoi's dreams. The reactions to Kaeda's clothes were pretty funny. The singing part was nice. |
| The new length of this show is refreshing. I remember I was always left wanting in Season 1 with the 5 minute episodes, but I think they really nailed down the length with this one. Of course, it allows them a full OP and ED so hopefully it'll make more money for the studio too. |

| That was soooo sweet. I was smiling the entire time. :) I really enjoyed the first season of the show, so I have high hopes, and this episode didn't disappoint! Really relaxing, and just wonderful overall. Ahh, I know that feeling of waking up in a sleepover... But I usually get scared, and I gently nudge the person next to me, pretending that I'm not trying to wake them up... >///> hehe. |

| season 1: 3 minutes season 2: 3x5 minutes season 3: 3x15 minutes per episode? I could live with it :) great to see it back - indeed being longer makes it more entertaining but they still have all things that made first season so great. and those dreams :D |

| Wow. An anime parent with a realistic response. ... Is that even allowed? Hmm. Hints that the show might end with a climb up Fuji-san to see the sunrise. I looked into that a couple of years ago when I was planning my trip to Japan (didn't end up doing it, wrong time of year and it didn't fit with the other things I wanted to do). It sounded like fun. |

| I am so incredibly happy this got a second season! I really missed the girls, especially Kokona, who is as cute as ever. I'm so glad that the series is 15 minutes and twice as long, it really deserves it. I wonder if there will be new characters? |

| That was actually a really good episode! I didn't know if making the episodes longer would benefit the series, since the shorts were quite good with their limited run time. But now that I know this means they can have extended episodes instead of multiple little vignettes. I enjoyed it a lot. It was nice to see a bit more development for all of the characters. I'm eagerly looking forward to the rest of the season now! |

| That's some high quality animation in the OP and ED. Nice artstyle all around. I predict a 15 year time skip to the group climbing Mt. Everest together where it will take a surprisingly dark turn. Hinata will be separated from her friends by a minor avalanche and drama ensues. |

Probably they go up Fuji in the next episode or two, since you just walk up and tons of people do it. They should end the 24-episode season with them actually climbing. | That was very nice :) Last season episodes were short and sweet. I'm happy it's extended now, as long as it doesn't drag out. 2-cour is a bit of a surprise...shows like this rarely get a 2 cour season, especially a sequel at that (unless you're K-On). |

| Ah just as I had hoped, longer episodes really do make this more enjoyable. I don't mind that it's not a full 24 mins though since sometimes things tend to drag out at that length. 15 mins feels just about right. As for the episode itself, it was a nice and easy going start to the next season. Actually thinking about it I'm surprised by how much I can relate to Aoi and climbing has always been something I've loved to do (a shame there's no mountains where I live). She's definitely more ambitious now and I hope they take on Fuji at some point. Hinata's shiritori was amusing, she's still as silly as before. Kokona is still as adorable as ever and got a good laugh out of Kaede's casual moment. |

| Good to have this series back. "mm. wakatta." mountain name shiritori fails to even get past the first word. I never get a decent night of sleep in a tent. Doesn't look like they did either, albeit for a completely different reason. |

| I wonder, if this anime would actually have some dangerous drama like in Aoi's dream.. I mean, we are talking about mountains.. Tent is at the same time nice thing.. And at the same time it can break at times.. Well, I have experience.. So yeah.. Looking at those metal things not breaking is a bit yeah.. ;P So Kaede is in love with mountains, and Kokona with one mascot.. Interesting.. Voice in the Ending sounds familiar.. I wonder, if I heard this singer before.. Well, checked.. I heard Ending from Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko anime by this singer - Yui Ogura is her name, by the way.. |
