| Every now and then, I read about someone joking about the entire Seirin team going into the zone. Guess what, Fujimaki thanks you for your brilliant idea. So if you want to continue joking about Kuroko turning the entire Seirin team invisible or Kagami flying like Sanji, be careful for what you wish for. |

| Oh my God this chapter was hilarious! All of Rakuzan are in the zone? Bwahahahahahaha! I can't wait for the translations to come out. And Fujimaki... I hope you've got a reasonable ending planned for the end of this match, because since chapter 265, I went from thinking Seirin had a chance of victory to no chance at all. In all seriousness, I don't see Kuroko possessing Zone Overflow since he's just recently revealed yet another trump card (Quasi-Emperor Eye). I'm interested to find out who or what Seirin's saviour will be. Will Tsuchida finally have his five panels of fame? |

| Zone, zone, free zone, zone for everybody. Achieve one zone and we'll give you the other 4 completely free of charge! Do you guys remember that time when the zone was actually cool? I mean, it can be because of Akashi's second eye ability, but this is ridiculous. At this pace even the guy who sells hot-dogs will achieve the goddamn 「ZONE」in no time. |

| Definitely makes you wonder how this will all pan out. It took pretty much everything they had for the Seiren members to beat their Rakuzan counterparts the first time around, but now they all have Zone? Like Noonja said, hopefully the ending is actually reasonable. For Seiren to win now, we'd need something even more OP than Akashi's Zone-enabling ability. x_x It's always felt like Seiren has to win since Kiyoshi's put everything on the line, and half the supporting characters are graduating this year which doesn't leave much room for doing this all over again for another chance to win. And at the same time, with all the Rakuzan hype, it doesn't seem right for them to lose either. |

| After finishing the chapter I was like: "what the hell is this?!". Not so long ago only few people were able to enter the zone - so now suddenly it's not that hard and ANYONE can do it?! I'm VERY disappointed and displeased. Also - I haven't even seen Midorima entering the zone. For quite some time I got this feeling that this is how the manga will end - couple months after winning the Winter Cup Seirin will play against Shutoku and just when they are about to begin the match and jump for the ball, Midorima and Kagami look at eachother, with the first one being in the zone. Just an idea I had... |

| Most of the comments are the same- complaining that the zone is now just another ability anyone can have, and while I could argue that Rakuzan IS the strongest High School Team in Japan, and that entering the Zone only enhances one's already existing skills and mental focus (eg. Kagami's 'Super' Jumps and Aomine's already ridiculous agility). But one thing stood out. Mayuzumi. Seriously, what is Zone Mayuzumi supposed to do? Pass the ball faster? Sorry I had to post this, but it just made me facepalm. |

I was appalled that kagami was able to not only go over the zone time limit, but incorporate his AI in it when Aomine, who has more knowledge of the zone couldn't. Do you remember Kagami brother? He was at the level of a CG and he wasn't able to go to the zone, because he didn't had the talent! |
| I actually liked most part of this chapter. Akashi knitted the pieces of his team together and made it works as it should be. It was nice until.....the last panel..... That bit was freaking ridiculous!! Now tell me, how in the world Seirin would win the freaking match?!! |

Because this is Akahi's powuuuhhh his powuuuuhh is to make people love basketball so damn much when they play with Akashiiii *flip table* But seriously, I think Akashi's change is the reason why the Rakuzan members, including Mayuzumi (? How?), enjoy the game to its fullest. I think another Zone requirement is to c) enjoy basketball, if I remember correctly, and judging by the members' reactions when Akashi pass to them, they start to have this sense of unity in the team that makes them enjoy basketball more. I think I saw a panel where the black-haired dude pat Mayuzumi's back? So I guess he's happy because he's included in the team |

| On the contrary to most people's reaction to all Rakuzan members entering the zone, I actually think its awesome for the real Akashi's special power. It makes perfect sense. He is the captain, the leader, the coordinator, the master of the orchestra that is rakuzan and former generation of miracles. The real Akashi is always calm and seems to be in control of things so its cool that for a short period, he can make himself and his teammates to be in the zone. Seirin would have to come up with something that even trumps that if they want to win this game. Maybe someone is gonna open the second door? |

Yes him finding joy in basketball again because he's not bored with basketball anymore, as someone was able to beat him just like what Kuroko said. Though yeah, people have different triggers to do so, which gives more reason for the Rakuzan members to enter the zone. Though I'm not quite sure what their triggers are, but Akashi treating them better is probably one of those triggers. |

| About the zone thing, i am all up for it since it is the CG afterall. But mayuzumi? If Mayuzumi is able to go into the zone then Himuro should definitely be able to. Apparently Himuro isnt talented enough. |

Let's say there's a 4th requirement to enter the zone, and this applies only if you don't have the talent: You need (good) Akashi on your team. I'd say this is the case because until now, we haven't seen any other Uncrowned Generals enter the zone. And seriously, who among them loves basketball more than Kiyoshi? Why hasn't he been able to enter the Zone? The only difference I see between Seirin and Rakuzan is that Rakuzan has Akashi- the strongest individual player in the Winter Cup, who catalyses his teammates potential (when he's in a good mood). Meanwhile Seirin has the strongest duo in the Winter Cup (Kuroko and Kagami), and while Kuroko is effective when he cooperates with his other teammates, he is most effective when playing with Kagami (Emperor Eye Plan). I actually think this is a double edged sword, since their combo is unbelievably strong, but Kuroko isn't that strong when he's paired with a weaker player (The stronger the light, the darker the shadow etc). Also, if just receiving spectacular passes is what caused Rakuzan to enter the Zone, Kuroko should also be able to achieve the same effect with Seirin. I mean, at heart, he's a pass specialist for Jebus's sake. Now I've got a few ideas as to how Seirin could win this, and probably none of them are right, but its fun to come up with these: 1- Kuroko unlocks a second MAIN ability. since his original ability was suggested to him by Akashi, it probably is his strongest style, but heck this is Kuroko we're talking about. 2- Kuroko achieves the Akashi effect i.e. Zone Overflow i.e. entire Seirin goes into the Zone. 3- Kagami enters Zone II Or it could be a combination of them. (Looks pointedly at Fujimaki) Oi. You'd better have a plan for what you're writing, bro. |

| I could understand Zone for like prodigies... but all of Rakuzan? Seriously. This has just become more ridiculous than Overflow. The only way to bring back this match back to square one is if we see the Zone within the Zone. There is just no way Seirin can win... now that everyone in Rakuzan is in the Zone... or beat it with something even more ridiculous, like Zone Overflow. Hahaha. |

| the zone is really not that extraordinary, even NBA players gets into the zone once in a while, but a whole team going into the zone is something else lol, time for Kagami to enter Zone 2 or else its a loss for Seirin |

| I really didn't like what it looked like at the end of the last chapter, but the direction he's going with is better than expected! Also, am I the only one who somehow wants Seirin to loose? I want Kiyoshi to win with them, but if they win that's pretty much the end of the series. This is the only series that I think has really pulled off being a long running manga without feeling repetitive or lazy, I really don't want it to end! |
