It looks like there is one more chapter after this one, so the one last standing will be revealed next chapter. It's pretty depressing consider the relationship they were building in the last few chapters ;_; |

| Hmm... I'm willing to bet that maybe both of them somehow makes it through. Chances are slim now though but that big cliffhanger brings up the anticipation. It's either Rita or Keiji... |

| My bet is on keiji - as we saw in the chapter - he knows everything about rita's battle style, as he learned by watching her. On the other hand rita didn't realy pay much attention to him. |

| didn't expect this judjing by the flow of the previous chapters that were so keiji x rita, but i guess it does add a twist LEGEND911 said: Can please someone explain to me why one of them have to die? (i didn't exactly understand the signals thing) and didn't rita already have escaped from the loop? the antennae send out signals (a word that starts with t in the manga) and since the brains are receiving them, the brains themselves become an antennae; or rather a warehouse for stored signals particles as for why rita isn't free from the loops either she hasn't died in all that time since the last one (and not counting her deaths during keiji's loops) or she was looping ever since but the mangaka kept it hidden |

| Chapter 16 - All You Need is Kill So he didn't let himself be beaten by Rita, I thought he would, given how he was a child. The vow really changed him. Now one of them must die sadly... Interested to see what's next. I hope they find another way to end this, but that doesn't seem likely. Even tough they build up a lot of romantic and friendship moments that will remain in one of those two... 5/5 |

| That was a pretty good twist. I liked it. The loops are pretty big bastards for doing what they did. Toying with the lives of Keiji and Rita. I wonder how Rita came to that conclusion though. |
| That twist was both a gigantic shock and a depressing tragedy... I had big hopes that the two of them would be able to see the new day together after everything they did together but the fact that the Mimics' time loop will never end unless they destroy every antenna save for one, including the brains of both Rita and Kiriya makes it utterly impossible. I did not expect that the final fight in the story would be between the two of them. |

| did not expect that, but something was odd about Keiji talking about 'after the war' stuff in the previous chapters. Rita's attitude was different then, maybe she knew that they would have to fight all along |

| Just what I feared. Though it seems inevitable. But considering what Rita was saying in chapter 14, she might sacrifice herself or know that she'll lose to Keiji. Whether like it or not the war and the loops will end. All they need to do is kill the other person. I'm slightly confused though. If Keiji dies, he'll loop back. So I guess Rita has to go? |
