Playing the members of Shonen Hollywood are Ryōta Ōsaka as Kakeru Kazami, Tetsuya Kakihara as Ikuma Amaki, Daiki Yamashita as Kira Saeki, Shōta Aoi as Daiki Tomii, and Kenshō Ono as Shun Maiyama. | meganebu wasnt too bad, it was on the strange slice of life side...with megane. but that last ep twist was kind of unexpected. loved cuticle detective, i wouldnt mind have another series like it xD |

| Meganebu is very (!) bad. Boring if comparing even to typical slice of life about cute girls doing cute things. And characters development was really poor. Will hope, this show be better. |

It's not even a "true" slice of life though. I took it more like a comedy/gag show with a few tryhard SOL moments that are well done if you do like the show. There was no character development and it wasn't necessary to have it either. Sorry, I just feel like I have to defend this underrated series :/ Honestly, most people who give it low scores just don't resonate with the show or like the comedy. Boring is subjective btw. I found it more entertaining than a moe girl sol show but that's up to one's taste. |

| If you just watched the first episode of Meganebu you should've realized it was not a show to be taken seriously. I enjoyed it for what it was, it was kind of ridiculous and stupid but it was a pretty carefree anime to begin with. I usually get bored with slice of life so maybe thats why I ended up liking the quirkiness of Meganebu. Anyway, I just watched the first episode of this anime, and I can't make any judgments off of one ep but it doesn't seem like Meganebu at all, and seems more slice of life. It seems like its just going to be about the formation of an idol group with light comedy. |

I don't get what are people's deal with character developments. A show doesn't need to have brilliant character developments to be considered good. Azumanga Daioh doesn't have those but a lot of ppl find it a good anime. And if you want to talk about character development in Shounen Hollywood, I think there will be for people like Kakeru and Kira. | I love Meganebu and Cuticle Tantei Inaba! I found those series cute and funny! But, even if it's still only ep2, Shounen Hollywood is much more slice of life than comedy! I feel it even more sad than funny, specially the shoes part... I don't think it can be compared with gag series like Meganebu or Inaba. |

It's just screentime for some sadistic bishounen and not anything else. Meganebu! definitely tried to do bishounen (like most shows nowadays..) but it also had comedy, slice of life and plot which it did pretty well. It's not a masterpiece, but pretty damn good. And he/she is not weird for wanting that. I really don't mind where Shounen Hollywood goes in terms of direction/atmosphere but it'd be great to see another goofy, fun series orientated for the girls to enjoy. |
| Watching this makes me want UtaPri to hurry up and come back, but I have to wait until next year. I was excited for this show cause male idols again for a change, but I just can't get into it I'll give it until episode 6. |
