THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
I think they started the episode perfectly with that crying scene again, it was as touching as the first time.

I really think the Shinobu x Mogi pair is cute though, well Shinobu deserves to have a nice relationship in my opinion, one that does not involve a sister. Hopefully everyone is getting past their broken hearts though, well I still get an odd feeling from Kou...

Eww no way, why would they include incest?

Anyway, I don't know what's with the perfect pace of this show, how they could make such a complex -yet at the same time so simple- storyline in 11 episode series? That's killing a cell in my brain at the moment, I'm dying to see how is this going to end; Unless of course we get a second season.

Hell, I love the way the characters use that subtle emotion on their faces to show us how exactly they're feeling without making it too obvious and easy to understand, its rather something hard to find somewhere else, I wouldn't be this interested on Aoi Hana if it weren't for this.

The good things on this episode is that they didn't have enough time to pause and remind everyone their past and showing weaknesses and long ass monologues about it, Its not like I am complaining, this was a quite enjoyning episode. Anyway... I love Kou! HECK! His appearance here wasn't a waste! Really, for a second, I almost thought he had no purpose other than to fulfill the requirement of randomness and to make complicated several situations that would involve Kyouko and her emotional actions, He LOVES HER! I got the shrugs when he took the flower on his hands and said he would love to be the person of Kyoko's dreams. To make it more lovely, he thanked Aa-chan for telling him that she got dumped by the person she was inlove with, I guess someone on his possition would be relieved to hear that. His interaction with Akira is rather interesting, I thought for a second that he was interested on her for personal purposes, but then again, I guess thats what we are supposed to see here on his scenes.

Well, This shows keeps me at the edge of my seat wanting more and more, too bad it will end soon. The story flows so smoothly that you don't even know what you just saw.

I think Kou wins this episode for me. I felt truly sympathetic towards him and it's really sweet just how much he loves Kyouko. If she's not a lesbian, I think she should pay him more attention, since he evidently knows her and cares for her more than certain other people.

They changed a lot of stuff in this episode from the manga material. But they need to end the series, so including that stuff would just leave loose ends.

And is it me, or are they trying to imply some Fumi x Kyouko here? I mean, I don't think anything of it. They are just some kindred spirits with similar issues, but for anyone who wants to assume more about them, this episode is fodder for that.

I agree, hopefully, she'll turn out to be bisexual...

Aa-chan blushed out for Fumi on that forest when she almost fall out from that minicliff, Is not like it should mean something, Im just pointing out that fact. And since Akira was in that sea of thoughts in the night wondering about love and stuff.... Ah well lets see how's going to end, but certainly I wouldn't like a Kyouko/Fumi ending.

They both (Fumi and Aa) would need to realize if they are in love of each other, but honestly; I can't see a romantic development in 2 episodes, would be too rushed. Also Fumi needs to realize what the heck is what she wants, I can't really say whats on her mind but meh... Since she broke up with Sugimoto, its everything too weird.

Really great episode. I love the pacing and the characters in general...especially Aa-chan, she is just too adorable. I wonder what's going to happen since there are only 2 episodes left.

Amazing episode! Very positive, it reminds me Great Teacher Onizuka and Azumanga series.

Aachan is such a coward. :D

Can't wait for new series! :)

There gona be a second season for sure! :)

By the way, i like the music on the background. When they were walking through the forest.

Yes it was great. Especially when Fumi said that she is fine, but words have spread faster than her real feelings. :)

I loved this episode and really felt sorry for Kou. This episode had a good balance of drama and comedy to it. Many "summer trip" episodes lack a good balance and usually there's no character development but this one was a good change.

Enjoyable episode. Quite well-balanced imo. I have wonder where it'll go in the last two episodes and I just hope they don't squash too much in. I wouldn't be surprised if this got a sequel.

I wonder if Aa-chan will fall for anyone in the next episodes..

I can't say what I think about this episode... mostly because it would be a repeat of my previous posts on this series. I just love it all. ;A;

Hopefully the end product is Fumi x Aa-chan. That's what I'll be rooting for, even though it'll be rushed if it is developed in only 2 episodes.

Another warming episode. Too bad there's only two left. I wonder how they're going to end it..it's a shame that there's only 11 episodes. The story should have more development for sure, or at least another season or something.

this is easily one of the best (if not the best) shows of the season, I'm hoping it gets a second season, cause I can't see anyway for them to end this that won't feel rushed and destroy the whole atmosphere of the show.

during the scene in the car I thought Ah-chan was jealous because Fumi and Kyoko looked like they were getting close. after her introspection near the end I'm wondering if it might not have been something else.

for some reason I really loved the fact that they both caught colds from stargazing together ;)

I'm rooting for KoXKyoko, I think she loves him more than she admits and doesn't understand how much he loves her. though its a doomed ship if she's a lesbian and not bi :(

As frustrating as this trope is, I think Kyouko is mostly gay for Yasuko. I don't really think she has a sexual desire for women, just an emotional desire for Yasuko. She's not really like Fumi.

Fumi we KNOW is gay, because she has had a sexual relationship before with Chizu, and she also had a romantic and physical one with Yasuko.

Kyouko seems to want just Yasuko. But if she can fall in love with Kou, that would be nice. He's a sweet boy, and he really, really loves her. I wouldn't put up with that kind of treatment from her if I was him, and it's a lot harsher in the manga, honestly.

But you don't just fall in love with someone because they love you. That's a bad reason to love someone. So hopefully she comes to realise he's a nice person, and worth her time and feelings.

Beautiful episode. One of the best this show had to offer, though they were all very good. I am still curious how they will end it. There is literally nothing indicating an end and there are only two episodes left, but I have the feeling one doesn't need to worry as long as it's this show.

The atmosphere was great throughout the hole episode. But seriously: 6 girls sleeping in one room with lilies in the background. That's one hell of a metaphor.

Needs to be an OVA episode of how they spent their time in bed with the cold. There was a pretty good development in the manga during that time.

On one hand the series isn't necessarily bad but it's not that good either. IMO it's riddled with too many unnecessary scenes that don't add anything to the series... and this is coming from someone that absolutely loved ARIA.

Doesn't matter if she's gay or not, she should break up with him. It's not fair to Kou-chan, even if she is into guys.

Oh wow, what a refreshingly cosy episode. The closer they get to the end, the better the anime gets (this thing, I fucking hate, because I'm sure I'll really miss watching it).

Yassan (Misako) always breaking up the bickering, Pon (Youko) always so cheerful and getting the worst of it, and Mogi (Miwa) crushing on A-chan's brother (WTH)

I like how A-chan reminds me of Sakura: they both don't like scary stuff. Nice to see how her closest friend, Fumi, is excited about it, just like Tomoyo.

Holy shit, I just struck a realisation. A-chan is Sakura, Fumi is Tomoyo, and the three girls = three other friends of Sakura and Tomoyo (Chiharu, Naoko, Rika). Lolol

The way they ended the episode too, MAN that's some good shit. Why did people just let this pass by????

ffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuckkkkkk

EVERYTHING IS NICE

A heartwarming affair, this was a much needed breather episode after all the heavy stuff. It's nice to see Shinobu and Kou-chan again, and I might actually be able to tell Fumi's classmates apart now. There's also plenty of ship tease, the most obvious being of the Acchan x Fumi variety.

While I do find it sweet how much Kou-chan cares for Kyouko, I totally agree with this. Though I'm not quite sure if Kyouko is fully aware of the extent of his feelings.

Summer vacation time, lads. Here we go!!! Now that is definitely a summer home I would be glad to go to.

Some decent development from the characters in this ep. In particular, Kou and Akira. One knows that his lover is interested in someone else, and the other has thoughts about having someone to love and care about. Both are slightly sad, tbh.

2 eps left. I do wonder how they will finish this series.

I was wondering about Fumi and Kyouko, but I don't think anything is going to happen between them.

Akira still seems to only like Fumi as a friend. Will that change?
