| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I cant believe that dude actually shot at a woman and kids. What a wanker. Cosmo so far is showing no redeeming aspects at all, pretty annoying main character. So far its a Gundam knock-off, which isnt necessarily a bad thing, but its got no charm and the plot holes are nagging at me. Hope it gets better. |

| Yeah like I said in your profile... gotta give some of the characters time. I ended up liking Cosmo, but kind of like Kamille in Zeta, it took quite awhile. And if we wanna talk Gundam knockoff's, watch out for the Dunbine characters. Haha, Show Zoma was basically a remixed Kamille. x_x |

| True. Well kind of, I think it's moreso just Tomino. Haha. Ryosuke Takahashi's older stuff has some pretty good leads, Chirico in Votoms, Crinn in Dougram (like a calmer Amuro), and Eji in Layzner. Honestly I kind of tend to think he's the superior director of the two and kind of has a more mature style, but Tomino is the one that's come up with so many incredible ideas and everything so they balance out! Tomino has a bigger track record though... and some of Takahashi's new stuff like Blue Gender, Gasaraki, etc, is pretty sketchy. It's a shame he didn't get to do as much as Tomino did in the 80's. |

| Agree with the post above. Especially the opening and ending. That kid annoyed the hell out of me with his cryings, wow. I don't blame Cosmo though. So far his character is inexistent bundled with some Deus ex machina elements, however I say we give him some valuable time. |
| The ending is so amazing, and the opening has such an old vibe. I'm really liking it. I guess I can understand Cosmo. He was having his normal life just a few time ago, and suddenly his father and almost all of the people of the planet they lived just got killed.He has a reason to be upset by everything. By the looks of it everyone will be dead by half the show xD |
| Loving the show so far. I don't think Cosmo is annoying at all. Generic and somewhat bland, yes, but nothing really unreasonable or annoying. And even that can be excused, since we're still only three episodes in. Give 'im time. |

| I'm also loving this so far even though we are just throw into all this chaos with no real introduction to any of these characters even our protagonist and I kinda like that even though we'll probably get some character background later on but for now it's just pure madness/action. |

| This baby reminds me of Victory... It might be slow but it seems like a good choice, as long as it doesn't lose time on every possible occasion like Zeta. The rusty spaceship ascending to the sky was very well done. 4/5 Good background music too. How could people already find Cosmo "annoying" or "unlikable" three episodes in when we have almost no clue about his personality? XD Also, I doubt that we are supposed to "like" him already. Moreover, characters don't necessarily have the mission to be loved or hated by the audience. How old are you? |

| Great episode again. The pacing is nice and the tension is high in these first few episodes, though I agree that Cosmo is pretty bland, though it's not like we've had any time to really see him as a character; shit has been rough so far. |

| lol, the buff clan are so trigger-happy. "if you don't tell me where the buff clan's karala is, we'll shoot you!!!" (says it to a crying group of children and mothers who clearly have no idea what's going on) "you asked for it!!!!!!!" (shoots and To Be Continued pops up on the screen) |
| Negotiating isn't really the enemy's strong suit... The ide gang would gladly hand over Karala but the Buff Clan are already making suicide missions for her lol. |

| how can you shoot a bunch of kids only cause they don't know what you are asking them? that guy deserved his death. i wonder who unconsciously used that barrier, maybe Lou, the baby? I don't like Cosmo a lot, but i guess it's early to judge the characters. |
