I mean Happiness is by no means bad, it’s def above average, I just think it’s Oshimi’s worst work (that I’ve read). I feel like I was more invested into the FoE story despite it (i think) being shorter? The animation style for the anime was super weird so I just went manga only and if it puts you off too then I recommend you do the same. And Blood on The Tracks just had a way cooler premise to me than Happiness. Also you 100% need to read some Urasawa, simply the best mangaka imo. His writing is insane, i recommend starting with either 20th Century Boys or Monster. Pluto and Billy Bat are decent too but I didn’t enjoy them nearly as much.
Oh well, if it's like that then I can't really knock you for it. Tbh I had the impression that this show is mad underrated so I wanted to see something way more in-depth. Guess I'll have to watch it to see why ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Also same I barely know how this website works when it comes to posting anything.......
Sorry i dont know how this stuff works xD but still didn't make the review as a full essay for the show but something short and snappy so people know what (clearly) the majority of the people thought of the show
I don't hate this any with a passion therefore not putting much effort into my review but if you actually watched the show from a neutral perspective, the characters and story are very poorly brought about and developed. If this anime couldn't intrigue many of the watchers within the first 5 episodes what's the point in it continuing because they've lost half the viewers for the rest of the series.
Nah you didn’t, the whole thing read as something really subjective. Didn’t you just say that they’re awkward sometimes and that’s it? There’s no other negative, in-depth reviews on the show so whether people rated it high doesn’t really count. Also why did you reply on my profile instead of yours xD
